We are in the process of adding some custom components to a 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE FLHX.

We are changing the handlebars to a 16 inch Ape Hanger.

Bars made by Cycle Smiths.

We chose the black to go with alot of other black powdercoated parts.

To change handlebars on the 2008 Touring models reqires some expert wiring skills.With the internal electronic throttle and running wires inside the bars.Space inside the bar is very limited.Keep in mind that you have 24 wires inside the handlebar on the right side.When taller handlebars are used the wires will need to be extended.Our choice for extensions is to always use heatshrink and solder.This means you have 48 connections to solder and heat shrink on just the right side.
