Dagel's Street rods is a full service street rod shop and large retail store.
Gary Dagel moved to Orange California from Montana in 1991 and re-opened Dagel's Street Rods in 1993. Gary fell in love with the Orange area while visiting freinds and has never regretted his decision to leave his home state.
Dagel's Rod shop specializes in complete builds and when it comes to car building, Gary has maintained the theory that Dagel's builds brand new cars that happen to look like a street rod or custom car. Our cars feel like you just drove them off a modern dealership's lot. Dagel's has built a solid reputation building cars for people all over the western states. Several of our cars have been featured in Street Rodder and Custom Truck magazines. In May 2004 our friend, designer Chip Foose, recommended us to film an episode of Overhaulin'. It was a fun experience for us and our crew. The car we built was a 67 Chevy Nova designated The Cherry Nova by Chip.
Dagel's retail store is run by Gary's daughter Candie Dagel. Candie has been running the store for 4 years now and is very knowledgeble about all the products sold at Dagel's. Dagel's sells and stocks products from most of the biggest names in the industry including: Lokar, Vintage Air, Ididit, Zoops, Borgeson-Mullins, Hot Rod Air, Billet Specialties, Total Cost Involved and many more. Go to our regular website to see a complete list of venders with links to all their sites as well. We sell what you need to build and finish your pre 68 car, from nostalgic rat rod to high dollar street rod give us a call.
