***Featherweight meansthat when you hold the silk up in front of you shapes and lights can be detected but not clearly seen. How much people can see of your shape under the silk will depend on the lighting. I do not know what the specific weight is but it is less than 5mm. That is what makes it truly featherweight and ultra-floaty.
Finish: the hem is machine bound in a clean tight stitch that is firm but lightweight. no raveling is possible with this finish.
Silk Technique: These silk veils are created using a technique that causes the veil to have a watercolor like texture that appears to be a "ripple like" effect not unlike flowing water. This feature does not always show up in the photo's and varies from one veil to another. This technique causes the colors to blend and flow in intriguing and creative ways and helps to make each one unique.
The photo's are the best approximation of the items colors and will look different on individual monitors. Please allow for this when making a purchase.
