These beautiful prints have been masterfully reproduced from the original artwork of Albert T. McNea, industrial designer and illustrator. McNea, an Irish American received his training from notable schools such as the Cleveland Institute of Art, Yale and Kent State University. In 1965 as senior designer at Ford Motor Company, his projects included the 1969 Mustang, Lincoln, Mercury and Thunderbird lines. In 1971 as a result of his Boss Mustang project success he was transferred to Australia to oversee the performance program for the upcoming XA and XB Falcons. As lead designer, his work included the much admired 1973 Falcon XB-GT, a high-speed touring muscle car, winner of the long-distance Australian Bathurst 1000 race, and as the Evil Black Interceptor in the original "Mad Max”. Albert passed away January 1, 2005, aged 64. His original drawings, in marker and pencil on 18"x24” vellum are some of the most unique automotive concept designs to be made available in recent times.
