At Discount Laminate Flooring, we have implemented clear policies on delivery, refunds, returns, cancelled orders and sales tax to ensure your satisfaction. SEE ORDERING POLICIES BELOW!

Our Famous "Curbside Delivery"

Our "Curbside Delivery" policy means YOU UNLOAD THE TRUCK, NOT THE DELIVERY COMPANY.

Here's how it works:

The truck arrives at the curb in front of your home. The driver eases the wrapped skid to the back of the truck, removes the steel bands and protective shrink-wrap, and proceeds to hand you each individual box (about 35 lbs). Your job is to carry each box from the turck to your home. Total time to unload your order, about ten minutes.

Arrangements can be made for the driver to further assist you, but there is a substantial fee for this additional service. The carrier will typically contact you the day before delivery to verify your shipment, address, etc.

Most customers love the simple convenience of our Curbside Delivery and enjoy the friendly service of our carriers. Most importantly, they're thrilled to save 50% off retail! On average, our customers save about $1,500! When you consider these incredible savings, we think you will agree our Curbside Delivery is well worth ten minutes of your time.

Refunds, Returns and Cancelled Orders

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the appearance of the floor, you may return the product for a refund of the original purchase amount. We do, however, require that you pay the freight out and back to cover the cost of returning the product to our distribution center. Once the product is returned to our inventory, we will refund your original purchase amount within 30 days.

If you have any doubts about how our floor will look in your home, we strongly recommend you first buy a single box before placing a full order, especially if you are considering our rustic 2 common flooring. This will allow you to get a better sense of what our product will look like installed in your home.

We will not accept any of the following products for returns or cancellations at any time:

Custom cut treads for stairs
Custom made doors
Plugged/custom flooring orders
Hardwood flooring returns of less than 200 square feet
We may, however, consider a cancellation if we are able to retrofit your product to an existing order or project. If we accept the cancellation, a 50% restocking fee will be charged to your account. This policy takes effect once production of your order has begun, which, in the case of treads, doors and plugged flooring, is generally 72 hours.

The following products may be returned for a full refund, provided you pay the freight out and back:

Laminate flooring (No more than 5% of the boxes may be opened)
Underlayment
Installation Kit
Trim and moldings
Upon return of the merchandise to our inventory, we will refund your original purchase amount within 30 days, depending on your method of payment.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is an issue of concern to consumers, retailers and to those who do not have a legal presence in any state. Each state has a type of sales tax called a Use Tax. Use taxes apply to purchases made out of state or country. To find out if you have to pay this tax, call your state sales tax agency. They will most likely say you have an obligation to voluntarily pay the Use Tax. Use Tax payment is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller. Discount Laminate Flooring has no legal obligation to collect any taxes in the United States, except in California. If, at any time, we fail to charge you tax and then contact you later to collect it, we are within our legal right to do so. All taxes we collect are remitted to the state, as that is the law.

Customer Satisfaction Pledge Ordering Policies

At Discount Laminate Flooring, our goal is your complete satisfaction. We believe open and honest communication is the most effective way of achieving that goal. That is why we have implemented the following policies on ordering so you know exactly what to expect when you shop with us.

Shipping Dates

When you place your order, we will provide you with an anticipated shipping date. We estimate shipping times conservatively and strive to ship sooner than the anticipated date. We will begin processing your order once you have returned confirmation of your order and shipping date by e-mail or in writing.

In the unfortunate event that we are unable to ship your order by the anticipated date, we will notify you by e-mail or in writing before the date, and explain the reason for the delay. We will also provide you with a revised shipping date, if possible. If your order cannot be shipped on time, you may choose from one of the following options:

Accept the revised shipping date.
Cancel your order and receive a full refund on account for the merchandise within thirty days.
Accept substitute merchandise of equal or better value. If you accept substitute merchandise, we will explain how it differs from the merchandise you originally ordered.

Damaged, Defective Or Incorrect Merchandise

If you receive merchandise from us that is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, please let us know and we will be happy to replace it or refund your money. If you choose to have the merchandise replaced, we will pay all shipping costs and you will not be assessed our normal restocking fee. Refunds will be provided within thirty days of our receipt of the returned merchandise.
