At Parts Depot we rely on you the buyers ordering the right part for your car. Therefore we want to make sure you get the right part for your car. After all it only makes more work for us if you order the wrong part!
Our 'Application guide' is to be used as a guide only and whilst we try and include as much information as possible, variations on part numbers can occur with different models/engines and vehicle bulid/chassis breaks etc.
We have compiled this guide to give you some tips to make sure you get the right part number for your car:
Use your DATA STICKER to find out your MODEL YEAR , engine number, PR numbers, trim codes etc. You will need all this information to help you determine if a part is correct for your car.
To see if a part number is correct for your car you can either check with a main dealer or you could also look your own parts up on this online parts catalogue (information may not be 100% accurate):
Alternatively the best way to check is to cross reference the part number on your old part with the new one. Remember though that part numbers will often supersede so the part number may have changed from the original part number that was fitted to your car.
*** We may be able to check compatibility on certain parts if you can supply us your full 17 digit chassis number ***
We hope that you find this guide useful and remember we will always try and help as much as we can to find out if the part number is correct for you before ordering.
