FINISHING TIPS FROM THE SHOP 

1.     Always inspect your new piece for any dirt than may have occurred during shipping. Dust off any dirt. We always wipe off the piece as precautionary measure.
ALL our furniture comes finely, thoroughly, pre-finished.
All orders MUST pass “Inspector Fran’s scurrility.

2.     Apply your stain using a fine bristle brush. Stain a portion at a time. Use a clean, no lint rag, wiping with the grain, wipe off any excess stain. Do this with each portion of your Naked Pine Furniture piece. A little at a time.

3.     Following the directions on the stain container. letting it dry, usually overnight. Inspect your pine piece, to check if it’s dark as you wish. If not, apply another coat, repeat above tips. You may repeat as necessary until you are satisfied of the results.

4.     Apply a finish coat of commonly used Polyurethane. We suggest using a spray, easier to use. Or, you may use a container of Polyurethane and brush it on. In either case, don’t apply to much, and watch for runs. If you have runs, brush them out.

5.     Following instruction on container, let dry. We suggest applying 2 additional coats. Following tips above.

6.     Lightly sand, we like 500-600 grit sandpaper. We dust off the piece, continually
