Just check your hinges on your door to see how they line up with the drawings above.
3-1/2" x 3-1/2" Hinges:
Residential grade plain bearing hinges made of 2.2 mm gauge steel. These hinges are complete with matching 3/4" x 9 screws. 3-1/2" hinges are generally used on interior 1-3/8" thick hollow core or solid core doors.
4" x 4" Hinges:
Residential grade plain bearing hinges made of 2.5 mm gauge steel. These hinges are complete with matching 3/4" x 9 screws. 4" hinges are generally used on exterior 1-3/4" thick solid core doors.
Which Size:
To determine the size of your hinges, measure from the top of the leaf to the bottom and again from the left edge to the right edge while the hinge is fully opened 180 degrees.
Which Radius:
To determine which radius your hinges have is quite simple. If the corners are all square, then you have just that, square corner hinges. If they are rounded, then you will have either 5/8" or 1/4" radius. See the drawings above and match them to your hinge.
