I would like to take a moment to advise all of my customers both past and present on my new auction style. Many of my rings/jewelry items come to me in a series or collection. Meaning there will be future rings/jewelry listed after the auction ends. Please take that into considertaion before bidding. Be assured you are getting an authentic certified treasure but not an original piece~
I would also like to advise customers both past and present that I cannot guarantee materials are authentic. This disclaimer is on every auction I list and it refers to the band only. These rings come to me un-marked and un-appraissed for value. Though I believe them to be sterling silver I cannot guarantee it. If you have any problems with the band material here are some helpful tips:
Silver contains small amounts of copper. Copper sometimes reactions with people's body chemistry. Amino acids accelerates the process. In hot climates the metal is more reactive to oxidation. The heat and persperation cause a chemically reactive climate conducive to turning the skin green. To help lessen and sometimes elimate the problem, polish the inside of your ring daily for one week. The copper reacts and, near the surface, there is a gradual depleation of the copper. As the copper depleats, the problem lessens and resolves. Most ancient silver has a higher content of copper. This, in fact, reveals that not only is the ring real but it is old as well. Please clean with a dry soft cloth or microfiber cloth~
