POLICIES AND TERMS-OF-SALE

We
want to ensure that your shopping experience is pleasant,
fast, and smooth. Our most important policy information is
already in the item description, but for your convenience
we have expanded it here.

WE SHIP WORLD WIDE!
Combined
Shipping: Multiple
items
won/purchased within 7 days and PAID IN ONE TRANSACTION
(within 7 days of first item) will be shipped together.
The largest/heaviest item sets
the cost, with most additional items shipped for only $.20
each (for VERY large or heavy items, the weights are combined to determine the rate).
If you want the discount DO NOT PAY FOR ITEMS INDIVIDUALLY!!
Ask us for a combined invoice so you can pay for everything
in one fast, easy, consolidated payment. For
more payment info see "Buying Multiple Items"
under PAYMENT below.
Processing
Time: Items
are IN STOCK and ship from Canada, within 48 hours of cleared
payment (although we usually ship the same day).
Delivery Time: Times below are estimated and do
not count holidays, weekends, or the day you pay for your
order. Delays due to Customs inspection and seasonal (Nov/Dec)
traffic are beyond our control and should be anticipated.
If the estimated time passes and you still do not have your
parcel, contact your post office - they may be holding it
for pick-up and were unable to notify you (this DOES happen).

Overdue Shipment: Keep in mind that Customs inspection
often delays delivery by several days - please be patient!
On rare occasions parcels shipped outside Canada can take
3 or more weeks to arrive, but very few ever actually get
lost (Canada Customs recommends that USA & International
customers wait 30 days before assuming a parcel is lost).
Check with your local post office to see if it is waiting
for pick-up (they may have been unable to notify you - this
DOES happen, even with very small parcels!).
Customs: Customers located outside of Canada should expect
their country's Customs to hold the item for inspection, which
may cause delays. We cannot control nor predict how long inspection/delivery
will take. Also, we cannot lie about the value of the parcel
contents on the Customs label. Lying to Customs is ILLEGAL (it's a federal offense).
Insurance:
By default, most parcels are shipped WITHOUT insurance (people
generally don't want to pay $5+ to ship a $.69 item), but
we will gladly provide it upon request. Canada's insured postage
rates differ depending on destination - contact us before
sending payment and we will give you a quote. Uninsured
large combined orders may be upgraded to include insurance
at our discretion.
Rush/Express Rates: via Canada Post's XpressPost
service available upon request. Inquire BEFORE sending payment.
Sorry, we will not ship by UPS/FedEx/DHL etc.
Pick-Up:
Sorry, we are no longer able to offer pick-up service.

WE CANNOT OFFER THE DISCOUNT OVER MULTIPLE PAYMENTS!
We cannot refund/omit shipping charges on subsequent orders
once you've already sent a payment. Every payment we receive
accumulates transaction fees; also repacking orders wastes
time, paperwork and shipping materials, and creates an accounting
nightmare at the end of the year. But usually it is simply
too late since we tend to ship orders on the same day
they are paid for.
Sales
Tax: Canadian
orders will be charged 5% GST (or 13% HST depending on province) on final total. BC orders will also be charged
7% PST on
final total.

| UNPAID
ITEMS (Non-Payment) |
|
If you used the "PAY ALL
SELLERS" option at PayPal, please check that a payment
to 'eclectisupply' was included on your transaction receipt.
Sometimes the "pay all" system doesn't work, and
if it didn't we cannot possibly know that you attempted to
pay us!
Payment Reminders: We send 1 invoice within 24 hours of
your win/purchase, and 1 friendly payment reminder within
4-5 days if payment has not yet been received. If payment
is not received within 7 days, on day 8:

Unpaid
Item Claim will be opened
- The
item(s) will be relisted
-
An Unpaid Item Strike will made against your account within
the next 7 days.
Non-Communication: If you do not communicate with us,
we can only assume you abandoned the transaction. Unfortunately,
telling us a long story about why you couldn't pay and then
trying to send payment that is weeks overdue is pointless
- the items will have already been relisted and very likely
sold by then. We are not a collections agency - if you don't
pay within the required amount of time, we will simply make
the item available to someone else.

| RETURNS
& REFUNDS |

Returns
accepted within 30 days of purchase/win. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Wrong size? Wrong colour? Don't like it?
No problem, just let us know before you ship it back. We can accept a return or exchange
(new shipping charges will apply to exchanged items). Item
must be UNUSED and returned in original packaging within
30 days of purchase/win.
Refunds: Refunds issued via PayPal ONLY (to the email address used during the original transaction), including credit card payments and all other payment methods. Refunds are credited based on the funding source of the original payment:

Credit card: funds will be credited to your card (may take up to 30 days to appear on statement)

PayPal account balance: funds will be returned to your PayPal account balance

Bank transfer/debit: funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance
-
Other sources: (money orders, cash pick-up, HyperWallet, etc.) funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance
If you do not already have a PayPal account or did not pay by credit card, you must register at PayPal to receive your refund (registration is free). You can then transfer the funds from PayPal to your bank account, or keep the balance at PayPal for future use.
Late Shipments: If the item was shipped
without insurance we cannot issue a refund if the parcel is
lost in transit, since an insurance claim cannot be opened to get the money back. Keep in mind that Customs inspection often delays
delivery by several days - please be patient! Very few parcels ever actually get lost (Canada
Customs recommends that USA & International customers
wait 30 days before assuming a parcel is lost). Check
with your local post office to see if it is waiting for pick-up. They may have been unable to notify you - this DOES happen.
Damaged/Defective Items: Due to occasional manufacturing
flaws, sometimes things are less than perfect. We inspect
each item and try to describe any flaws in the listing, but
sometimes you just don't know until you go to use it. Contact us
and return the item (or just the defective pieces) within 30 days of win/purchase for
a refund or exchange.

Policy:
We leave positive feedback for you as soon as we've received
your payment and shipped your order. We ask that you leave
positive feedback for us once you've received your order
and are satisfied that your items are as described in the
listing.
If
you are dissatisfied enough to consider leaving a less-than-happy
comment, you should be dissatisfied enough to contact us for
a resolution. We believe in top-notch customer
service, are always polite and professional, and will always
do what we can to work with you to ensure your full satisfaction.
However we cannot help you if you do not contact us!
Frustrated About "Slow"
Shipping? Once we've shipped your
item (we notify you by email the day we ship, which is almost
always the same day you pay) we rely on the postal service
to deliver your parcel in a timely fashion. Since delays
due to holidays, Customs inspection and seasonal traffic
can slow down delivery, it is unfair to assume
that we can control how fast (or slow) the postal service operates. Please take this into account when leaving feedback.
