1. Payment Terms: Payment is required within ten days of the end of an auction. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards. Our preferred method of payment is Paypal, However, if you want to speed up the process, you may call us with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. You may also use your credit card with Paypal. We also accept checks and money orders.
2. Delivery Times: All furniture items are shipped to your curb - Our very low priced shipping quotes do not include red carpet services. If you would like inside delivery, unpacking, or setup help, we will be happy to furnish you with the numbers of a few reputable furniture delivery companies that can provide more complete delivery solutions. You will be responsible for the additional delivery charges. You must provide a daytime phone number, the carrier will not schedule the final delivery until they speak with you by phone. Normal deliveries will arrive in two to four weeks. Small items will be shipped via UPS Ground service with deliveries in 7 to 10 business days. For more details on our packing and shipping expertise, see #6 below. Please be sure to measure all of your entry ways to ensure your furniture will fit through your doors. If an item is shipped to you and does not fit through your door, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to you and back, and a restocking fee of 15%.
3. Packing Materials: Packing materials and other packing expenses are already factored into the shipping price. We take great pride in our packing and shipping precautions. Your larger furniture pieces will arrive on a pallet to prevent "Manhandling" which is the most common cause of damage to furniture.
4. Solid Wood Pieces: English Classics does not warranty solid wood pieces. While we do our best to ensure the wood has been properly treated before manufacturing, any solid wood piece, (antique or new), will always carry the risk of cracking or warping due do changes in climate, hydration or dehydration. About 10 to 15% of all solid wood pieces experience some type of cracking or warping. These are usually minor stress cracks which are structurally insignificant and cosmetically appealing. English Classics does not warranty solid wood pieces against cracking.
5. Your Satisfaction: It's Guaranteed!!! No surprises, we want to fill your house with English Classics Furnishings so we will take the extra step to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. We guarantee that our representation is fair, honest, and accurate. If, for any reason, you feel that we misrepresented an item, or that something was not mentioned or was misleading, let us know within 10 days and we will gladly refund your money without further question. If there is nothing wrong with the item, but you have changed your mind about it, you can return it within 10 days as long as you pay to ship the item back and a 15% restocking fee.
6. Feedback: We always leave positive feedback after the transaction is successfully completed.
7. Sales Tax: Residents of Georgia and anyone picking an item up at our Atlanta store must add 8% sales tax to the total of their item and shipping.
8. Insurance: We do not offer insurance, however to protect you from damage we do the following: If the item arrives and the box looks damaged (IE big hole in box, box is badly crushed) do not accept the shipment. They will send it back and we will refund you. If the box is undamaged accept the delivery. If there is hidden damage, email us photos right away (within 24 hours) and if we determine the damage was caused from faulty packaging or shipping negligence, we will either repair or replace the item.
