There are 25 Education Specialists within 100 miles of Frederick, MD, and there's a dozen or more books on eBay. Why would training with Jennifer make the difference?

In a word: Experience.

I've been buying and selling on eBay since March 2001, and first became a Power Seller in 2003 and added an eBay Featured-Level Store in 2004. My preferred listing tool is Turbo Lister 2.0, but I've also used Mpire & the on-line Sell Your Item form provided by eBay.

I use eBay to expand the reach of my Frederick, MD based retail store, Enkore Kids, where I specialize in new & "previously-loved" Children's items. I list items I own as well as have on consignment for customers, acting as a Trading Assistant. So I can help you clear out the garage as well as address questions of integrating an existing business with eBay and anything in between!

I became an Education Specialist Trained by eBay in December 2004 and teach several classes a semester at Frederick Community College at both the Basic level and Beyond the Basic level. The Basics of Buying and Business Consulting will be added in the Fall of 2007 so watch for them.

I've also been featured in The eBay Success Chronicles by Angela Adams, published in October 2006.

I teach a "hands-on" class with an internet-connected computer for each student so you can follow along with the instruction and retain more information. I use the latest information provided by eBay, which books can never keep up with. I supplement the official material with my personal experience of over 4000 transactions and training of over 100 students. Every class includes post-class email support for 30 days.

I'm a mom and a business owner. eBay helps me with both roles. As a mom, eBay is great to find great deals for my family and sell items I no longer need. And as a business owner, eBay has expanded my small retail store into an international business.

As an Education Specialist, I can help you get the most out of eBay by sharing my experience. Call me at 240-674-1859 to find out when our next class is or click on the Education Specialist logo above.

Feedback from students:

1) Instructor's real life experience is excellent! I would take other classes from her.
2) instructor very knowledgeable as to eBay policy and process and explained how to make eBay work for you - she covered all the basics :)
3) I saved lots of time from what Jennifer taught me in the 1st night of class. Can't wait until tomorrow. Thank you!!!!
4) Great!
5) very knowledgable and helpful
6) The instructor, Jen, was very pleasant and very knowledgable and well versed on the subject and its capabilities.
7) wish we could've listed an item during the first course..great course..learned alot
8) Instructor was extremely patient and professional...taking time to answer any and all questions raised, and demonstrating the actual steps for further clarification. Excellent Job!!
9) some print in work book is still hard to read with my glasses
10) Great class! Want to take the next 2 classes...
11) The instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to convey the information clearly to the students.
12) This class was really informational and enjoyable.
13) it is good to hae an instructor that has a thriving ebay business
14) Great knowledge of Ebay and able to answer all questions.
15) The class was very informative, however, it did become a little tiresome at times. I would like to suggest that the class be given in a 3 day period with 2 hours per night as opposed to 2 days at 3 hours per night. The instructor was very helpful and was ready, willing and able to answer any questions regarding the class. I overall really liked the class and I would highly suggest anyone interested in ebaying to take the class.
16) Instructor was first class. Students in this course should not be allowed in the class unless they have already had some level of experience selling on ebay. Basic questions about how to get started are not appropriate and waste valuable time. I would like to see this instructor teach a next level up course.
17) The instructor had experience with ebay and that helped. I feel I am now ready to take the next step to a new beginning.
18) very informative, learned new things
19) The istructor has experience with ebay. This was important to me. This course was very informative and I am looking forward to a new beginning. Thank you.
20) Great intro!!!
21) jenifer was friendly and informative...excellent class
22) Very good. She expalins well to someone who has no experience with ebay. So this was a great class for me
23) work book does not contain enough detail. Material was covered too rapidly by instructor and very little information was given beyond what was shown on slides.
24) As a new ebay user, the information given to avoid common mistakes was well worth the fee. The instructor was thoughtful, knowledgeable and fun!
25) Excellent presentation and coverage. Very open to questions. Thanks for a great class.
26) Jennifer is extremely competent in buying and selling on eBay and was able to show us many examples relating to her buying and selling. She was willing to answer our many questions.
27) Excellent class and I would take another class.
28) Needed futher info (outside of the book)on shipping and handling issues.
29) Couldn't ask for a better instructor. Unfortunately allotted classtime was not enough time to really go further in depth in certain key areas, such as shipping and packaging...
30) I believe the class was valuable for those who had never sold before and for those who had been selling a short while but needed to get more efficient (like me!). Instructor was very knowledgeable.
31) Jennifer was very knowledgeable about the subject. She was open to questions and explained the subject-matter well.
32) I appreciated having an instructor well experienced with Ebay who offered much from her experiences to help us.
33) Instructor is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She encouraged the students, and left us feeling confident about selling items on Ebay.
34) I would have liked to bid on some items in class and brought something in to sell to see how the process works rather than reading it in the book.
35) The equipment provided by the school for the instructor was too slow and we spent a lot of time waiting. We also did not enter an item to sell during class, which had been advertised.
36) I thought the class was well organized and addressed a lot of the problems and snafus a begining Ebay-er runs into. But it was Jennifer Guenther, our instructor, who brought the course to life. She made it personal - suddenly I CARED if I took a really professional-looking photo of an item I want to sell. And I cared if I left and received feedback. Thank you Jennifer - you did a fantastic job!
37) Excellent class but slow and a little to general
38) She was very knowlegeable and very good at explaining the ebay site.
39) The class was good and informative...I may take the next class. The teacher was very informed and relayed that
40) Very basic, but informative class. Good, enthusiastic instructor. I look forward to teh Beyond the Basics class!
41) Jennifer was knowledgable, patient, organized, and articulate. She shared her enthusiasm for E-Bay.
