Fortunately there is really only one standard in the comic grading industry and that is the Overstreet Grading Definitions which go from 10.0 GEM MINT to 0.5 POOR. GEM MINT are the best ever seen and POOR have little to no eye appeal as well as little to know collector value. In between these two grades lies the vast belly of comics that pass hands between collectors, readers and vendors daily. Eva's Comic Shop deals primarilly with mid to higher grade comics and after thousands of sales have never been accused of overgrading a single book.
People often comment favorably about the quality of a packing. The only thing we do is pack our comics in a manner in which we would like to receive them. We ship quickly as inventory is literally underfoot at any given time and the sooner it is shippied the faster space is made for other items. We recently shipped a magazine to Portugal and the buyer gave us a wrong address. The magazine went to Portugal and back and looked just as pristine when ait arrived as when it first left out warehouse.
