1. Fort Worth Trading Post offers a convenient and flexible Layaway Plan for items priced at or above $200.00.  Our Layaway Plan is offered to all customers with U.S. addresses.  International customers must receive prior authorization to participate in this Plan. Please contact us in advance if your shipping address is our side of the U.S. and you wish to participate in this program.  

2. All Layaway Agreements with Fort Worth Trading Post require a minimum initial deposit of 25% of the total listed price plus shipping fees, if any.

3. All Layaway Agreements require that a payment be made and applied to the remaining balance at least every 30 days until the balance is paid in full.  This 30 Day period is calculated from the date that the Layaway Agreement is setup.

4. Fort Worth Trading Post does not charge interest or handling/processing charges in connection with the set-up or maintenance of your Layaway Agreement(s).  The only exception is (see Number 6 below) If an item is not paid within the the preset timeframe (see timeframes below) and the buyer and seller have not agreed upon an extension, there will be no refund.  Please contact us if unforseen circumstances arise and a scheduled payment cannot be made.  We are flexible and understand that situations occur.

5. All Layaway Agreements with Fort Worth Trading Post are for a period of 60 or 90 Days.  However, in certain circumstances, the payment period may be extended or reduced if agreed upon by both the buyer and Fort Worth Trading Post in advance.   Payment extensions require that scheduled payments are made at least every 30 days. Buyer may open additional lawaway plans for another item if the initial plan is at least 1/2 paid and there have been no late payments.

6. There are no refunds of any Layaway Agreement payments made to Fort Worth Trading Post.

7. Layaway Agreements with Fort Worth Trading Post will terminate, and Buyer's deposit and other payments under the Layaway Agreement will become non-refundable and be forfeited to Fort Worth Trading Post, if payment of the total purchase price has not been made within the layaway timeframe specified in the Layaway Agreement unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

8. Layaway orders will only be accepted for orders totaling $200.00 or more, excluding shipping charges. Fort Worth Trading Post will hold item(s) for a period of no more than the below scheduled days in order for you to make your purchase.

9. Payment 1 (referred to as the "deposit") is due not more than 24 hours after eBay order/puchase as item availability is not guaranteed on all items.

Payment 2 is due not more than 30 days from initial order date.

Payment 3 is due not more than 60 days from initial order date.

Payment 4 (final payment, if applicable to your Layaway Agreement) is due not more than 90 days from initial order date.

10. Upon receipt of a layaway order, Fort Worth Trading Post will issue a Layaway Confirmation which will include the order date, total order amount and the due date for each payment. Please keep this confirmation for your records. As payments are received by Fort Worth Trading Post, you will be sent Payment Confirmations which will show the total order amount, amount of payments received and the date received, the balance due and the due date of payments remaining. Please keep these confirmations for your records.

11. Any layaway item not paid in full within the timeframe specified in the Lawaway Agreement will again be offered for sale to the general public, unless other arrangements have been made with Fort Worth Trading Post.

12. Lawaway payments are as follows:

A. Items priced $200.00 to $999.00 must be paid in full within thirty (60) days of the initial ebay purchase date.

B. Items priced $999.00 and up must be paid in full within sixty (90) days of the initial ebay purchase date.

13. Under no circumstances will a layaway item be shipped until paid in full.

14. To place a layaway order you must agree to all of the terms stated above. Your initial layaway agreement will constitute agreement to all stated terms. We reserve the right to decline any layaway for any reason.

15.  All questions regarding our Layaway Program must be asked prior to entering into this agreement.
