Candle Magick Colors

White   The balance of all colors; can be used in place of any other candle color. Used for spiritual enlightenment, cleansing, clairvoyance, seeking truth, and rituals using Moon energy. Candle for Monday and for the sign of Pisces and Aries. Uses feminine energy and is the altar color for Spirit.

Black     Black is a concentration of all colors. It is associated with Saturn and is used for spells done on Saturday. Black is the color for banishing or un-hexing. It is the color of the Crone and the unconscious mind. It will absorb negative energy.      

Yellow     Used when you have a need for creativity, the power of persuasion, help in communication, and in rituals using solar energy. Light a yellow candle when you need aid in passing a test. Yellow is the candle to use on Sunday and can be a secondary candle for Taurus. The color for the East altar.

Gold    Color is beneficial for spells involving the power of the God, extra protection, and when seeking help in gaining quick money.

Pink     This is the best color to use in true love spells. Pink promotes romance, friendship, lively conversations, and morality. This is a good color for both Taurus and Aries.

Red      Red is used for spells involving passion, courage, fertility, strength, sexuality, and vigor. Red is the color for Tuesday and for the signs of Scorpio, Capricorn, and Leo. This is the color of Ares and the planet Mars. This is the color for the God and the South altar.

Orange    This is a good color to use for encouragement, adaptability, and stimulation. Burn an orange candle to insure a good harvest. This is a good color to burn during any of the Harvest celebrations.

Silver  Silver is associated with the Mother Goddess. It is a good color to use for repelling negative energy, or for developing psychic ability. Use silver candles when attempting astral work for added protection.

Purple  Purple is a good color for spells involving intense healing. It is a Goddess color and can be used in rituals devoted to her. Purple can aid in meditation when blue is not available. This is the color to use for spells done on Wednesday.

Magenta   This is a combination of red and violet and it oscillates on a high frequency. This color will energize rituals when extra energy is needed. This color will also utilize the powers of both red and violet.

Violet  Violet is a good color to use when peace and spirituality is needed.

Brown  Earthy color of balance. Can be used to help increase material goods. Good for creating neutrality and to overcome uncertainty.

Royal Blue      Promote joy. It is the color of Loyalty. It is the color of Jupiter and increases its energy.

Light Blue   This is a spiritual color. It aids in meditation and brings peace and harmony to the home. This is a good color to use for utilizing the power of Aquarius.

Blue     This is a Primary color. Good for basic healing, obtaining wisdom, and to use when doing many types of divination.

Green  This is the color of the earth and can be used in any spell utilizing the power of the earth. It is one of the colors used to signify the Goddess. It is used in spells for fertility, money, and stimulating good luck. Use this color on the North altar.

Dark Green      The color of greed, jealousy, and ambition. Using this color in a ritual will counteract these influences. 

Tip - Candles burn best if the wicks are kept trimmed to about 1/4".
