I now offer 72 hour heat packs for $2.99 per shipment. These are only recommended if your daytime temperatures are regularly below 40 degrees. If your daytime temperatures are in the 50’s or above these heat packs may do more harm than good as they may cause overheating and undue stress for your plants. If you wish to purchase one with your live plant order request an invoice and I will waive the shipping charges for the heat pack. I also use fiberglass insulation or Styro phone inserts as needed. Fiberglass is probably the best insulation I can use but may cause irritation to the skin when unpacking your plants. Ultimately the choice to use heat packs is yours however neither the USPS nor I will be held responsible for any damage to your plants when temperatures reach below freezing. Last winter I successfully shipped plants all over the country during freezing weather but basically during periods of excessive cold please understand that live plants should only be purchased at your risk.
