...a Nature Inspired Gift Store...
In 1947 Marjory Stoneman Douglas wrote "The Everglades: River of Grass". Published the same year President Harry Truman dedicated the Everglades National Park.
"There are no other everglades in the world. They are, they have always been, one of the unique regions of the earth; remote, never wholly known. Nothing anywhere else is like them."
We chose a play on the words and named our business Grassy River Trading Company. At the end of the day we find ourselves longing to be outdoors, having fun in the sun.
