Attention
International Buyers -
Hello, thank you
for visiting Gad-Zooks. We are happy to ship all of our items
worldwide (except - due to import/export restrictions, Leatherman
Brand products cannot be shipped to Germany). We ship from
Vermont, USA.
We do love the
opportunity to work with buyers from all over the world. It is fun
and exciting to meet new clients from across the globe. Just to
avoid any confusion or misunderstanding though, there are a few
extra things that you should be familiar with before purchasing
internationally.
Many countries
charge a tax (also called duty fees, customs and excise, etc) on
imported products. The fee varies dramatically by the type of
goods, original country of manufacture, destination country, and
countless other factors. Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to
calculate the fee in advance or to pay this fee for you.
We are not able to
mark products as a gift of a lower value in an attempt to avoid
fees. The penalties for lying on customs forms can be huge fines
or even jail time. We sometimes ship over 30 international
packages in one day. If a customs officer noticed 30 "gifts" going
to 30 different recipients every day, that would certainly attract
attention. We understand that customs fees are inconvenient but
unfortunately, it is illegal to try to dodge them and we just
cannot take that risk.
The average global
delivery time is listed at the bottom of each listing. However,
this is only an average for all packages worldwide it is not the
maximum and minimum times (shipments to Canada, just 2 hours away
are included in that average). If a package is stopped at customs
for closer inspection, it may be delayed by several days or even,
in rare cases, a few weeks. Please keep in contact with us if a
package does seem to be taking a long time for delivery. We will
gladly assist you in any way we can and work with you and the Post
Office until the package is delivered to you.
Here are a few
links to eBay policy pages that relate to International shipping.
Please review these before purchasing if you are not familiar with
purchasing items internationally through eBay.

Especially important quotes from the pages above -
"Generally, buyers
pay additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance
fees. For example, international rates may or may not include
pickup and door-to-door delivery with customs clearance."
"For cross border transactions, sellers may not collect tariffs
and duties. However, buyers may be responsible for actual,
applicable tariffs, and duties as requested by respective country
laws."
If you have any questions, we are happy to assist you. We do have
fairly good language translation software so feel free to write in
the language that you are most comfortable in if communicating in
English would be difficult for you.
