What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal is the only payment method we are able to accept. Your PayPal account must be a U.S. account.
Do you charge sales tax?
Gaiam charges sales tax for orders shipped to addresses located in Colorado and Ohio. We automatically compute and add sales tax to those orders on the final checkout page.
What are your standard shipping fees?
If your item does not qualify for free shipping, Gaiam will charge a flat rate shipping fee based on the total amount of your order.
How do I place an order outside the Continental U.S. and Canada?
Delivery to addresses in Alaska, Hawaii or International addresses is not currently available on our Gaiam eBay store. But we are always striving to provide the best service possible to our customers. We are currently working on finding ways to ship our products to reach more locations outside of the Continental United States (48 States).
Can I Return or Exchange an Item?
We strive to provide 5 Star Service to customers and if we’ve made a mistake please allow us the opportunity to work with you and correct the issue. If you are unsatisfied with your Gaiam order for any reason please email us so we may work to resolve any issues before posting any negative feedback.
Merchandise purchased from the Gaiam eBay store may be returned within 14 days. If you return your order for a refund, we will gladly reimburse the cost of the item - shipping and handling is non refundable. If your item arrived damaged or defective please email us so we may coordinate a product exchange or return.
Apparel, Shoes and Accessories: Merchandise must be returned unworn and with all tags attached.
Movies and DVDs: Must be returned unopened in the original packaging.

Option 1: Return with SmartLabel:
Attach the label printed on the order receipt and drop your package in a mailbox, give it to your postal carrier or take it to the post office.
When using the SmartLabel, you don't pay postage up front. The shipping charges back to us will be deducted from your merchandise credit/refund. There will be no return charge if we sent the wrong item or if it arrived damaged.
SmartLabel return charges are as follows (they will be deducted from your order refund automatically):
Up to 2 lbs = $5.50
2.1 to 10 lbs = $8.50
10.1 to 15 lbs = $12.50

Merchandise credit: Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process your return. We'll credit or refund the value of the items returns and any taxes you were charged (excluding original shipping charges), less the cost of the SmartLabel return charge, if you choose this option. Credit card adjustments should appear within 2 billing cycles. Please email us before you mail your return so we can ensure that you receive a timely refund through PayPal.
Can you combine shipping charges?
Yes, Gaiam does offer combined shipping discounts to our customers for auctions won within a 6 day time period. To take advantage of our Combined Shipping offer you must use our Gaiam checkout to complete your order and pay for your items together within one order. Discount rates for Combined Shipping offers are included in the Shipping rates table and are determined by the total amount of your order from Gaiam.
Are your items new?
Yes. The products we sell are new unless otherwise noted. New items are marked NEW or NIB (new in box) in the title or description and are brand new items.
How will my order be packaged?
In keeping with our mission to clean up the planet, we reuse boxes and packing materials that come into our warehouse and use new boxes and mailing envelopes made of up to 100% recycled material. We use clean waste paper collected from local sources and 100% natural, corn-based, biodegradable "peanuts" to help protect your order during shipping.
