Venture Sheild is the product name of a company called Venture Tape. Venture Tape was purchased by 3M on October 1st, 2007. This can be verified by doing a google search: "3M buys Venture Tape".

What should I look for when buying Paint Protection?
We ONLY use & sell Genuine Venture Shield 8 Mil thick material. Be very careful when shopping around for Paint Protection that you only use 8 Mil material, many others sell Clear Automotive Vinyl and advertise it as "Clear Vinyl Paint Protection". They are NOT selling Paint Protection Film, they are using automotive grade 2 or 3 Mil vinyl that is used for lettering/decals and will turn yellow, crack, and peel after 30 days. Only Genuine Venture Shield 8 Mil material will protect your vehicles beautiful finish from road debris and the weather for the life of your vehicle.

How does Venture Shield resist yellowing?
It resists yellowing because the film is constructed of thermoplastic urethane, a tough, conformable material that is covered by a clear coat layer. Both the film and clear coat layers contain UV protectants to counteract harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun that can cause yellowing.

Does your material come with a warranty?
YES, our Venture Shield Paint Protection Film comes with a LIFETIME non-transferable warranty. Our material is warrantied against cracking, bubbling, or yellowing for the life of your vehicle. See warranty card included with order for more information.

What care to I need to take after I installation?
No special care is required. Just wash and wax like you always have before. Our Venture Shield Paint Protection Film is Clear Coated thus it has the same clear shiny finish as your car's paint.
