Talked to the seller and the guitar had some scratches but it was apparently on Shecter's end and possibly the shipping company, the seller states he had never removed it from the box, very nice good communication and quick shipping so giving a positive rating. Guitar works fine but the strings were aged.

Guitar came in new condition. No dings, dents or damage. The setup was off, but that's to be expected with a guitar in the $1K price range. I ordered the guitar in the winter, as such, the seller should have added instructions on how to acclimate the guitar before opening the box. These instructions should be emailed to the buyer by the merchant. This isn't my first rodeo, so I knew to do that, but a beginner may not know that. The communication with the seller was good.
