The bands are easy to attach.

 

1.  If you stretch the band, you can see that they are spring loaded.

2.  Use a pen or your fingernail and slide the top of the charm that you want to attach out and you will see the hook to attach to the slot in the other charm.

3.  Slide the hook through the slot in the other charm and they are attached.
