Directions for use:
1. Fill container with humidity beads: (see chart below for suggested amount)
· You can put the beads in anything, its suggested to use a shallow container (see photos above): plastic jar with lid with holes, used disk shaped humidifiers, nylons, used rectangle shaped humidifiers, cloth mesh bag, shallow container, shot glass, etc…
2. Spray or pour distilled water onto humidity beads until about 70% of the beads are completely clear. (See Reference Chart below)
Only use distilled water!!
(Do NOT use anything but distilled water, the other mixtures, or tap water, damage the beads and prevent proper absorbtion.)
· When the beads turn clear, they have absorbed their limit of moisture.
When the beads turn white, they have dried out and need to be rehydrated.
3. After placing moistened beads in humidor, check humidity levels for the next couple of days to be sure humidity is being regulated properly.
4. When the beads turn white, they have dried out and need to be rehydrated. Repeat #2, Re-hydration step with distilled water.
· It has been suggested that Humidity Beads don't expire. We suggest that you replace your beads when they no longer work to your satisfaction. Use your own discretion.
