Shipping Policy
               

Please use the shipment tracking number to track your package(s) that have been shipped from our warehouses to your destination. This is available at an additional cost at check out. When in doubt, PLEASE ASK before bidding or buying. If returning an item, please be sure to email us here at grannysgiftsgalore@yahoo.com for a return authorization and to explain your dissatisfaction. We insist upon the buyer providing us with a tracking number when returning an item to us as evidence that the buyer actually did ship an item back to us for return.  

Granny’s Gifts Galore knows that our customer look forward to receiving their items as quickly as possible.  We take great pride in meeting our customer needs in this regard (just check out our feedback).  Granny’s Gifts Galore attempts to keep all items listed in stock and ready to ship at all times, because of this we are able to ship most orders within one business day after we receive payment.  Orders are shipped everyday Monday - Friday excluding holidays.  Orders that have verified payment received before 11:59pm (Florida Time) each day are usually shipped the next business day.  Due to the large number of products that we offer and the high volume of auctions we run on eBay we do occasionally run out of stock on an item. If for some reason your item is not in stock at the time of receiving the order we will make sure we get it as soon as possible and ship your order the minute it is received.  If we are out of stock on an item in your order for more than 14 days we will offer a full refund of the item and ship the remaining items in your order.

 

Shipping Insurance

 

We take great pride in packaging all orders to with-stand the normal abuse packages receive during the shipping process.  Although we do our best to make sure your package arrives safely and in a timely manner, we cannot control how the package is handled after it leaves our care.  Because of this, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that all customers purchase the optional shipping insurance offered during check-out.  The shipping Insurance is $1.50 (unless stated differently in eBay auction) per order.  The shipping Insurance covers any damage that may occur during shipping and lost packages.  Any orders that are lost or damaged during shipping without purchasing shipping insurance WILL NOT BE REPLACED OR REFUNDED.

 

If you purchase insurance and your package is damaged during shipping we will handle the insurance process for you.  All you need to do is return the entire package to us (we need all items and the original package they were shipped in) and we will submit the insurance claim with the post office.  If the claim is valid and it is determined that the damage did incur during the shipping process we will replace the items and ship them to you at no charge.  Customer is responsible for cost of shipping items and packaging back to us for processing claim, we will pay all shipping charges for shipping replacement items to customer.  To process an insurance claim, you must notify us via email within Three (3) days of receiving the order and it must be shipped back to us within Five (5) days of receipt.  If the damaged item is no longer available we will issue a full refund of purchase price and S&H charges (Insurance fee will not be refunded).  If you think that your order is lost please wait Fifteen (15) days before notifying us.  If your order is not received within Twenty (20) days of shipping date, we will process the claim with the post office and ship you a replacement at no cost.  If your original order is received after a claim has been processed and replacement has been shipped, you must return the original order to us at your expense.  Keeping both orders after insurance has been claimed is considered Insurance Fraud and we will fully cooperate with the USPS in prosecuting within the full extent of the law.  Any and all reimbursements for insurance claims received from the USPS will be kept by us to pay for the replacement items sent.

 

Combined Shipping Discount

 

To receive combined shipping discount all of the following criteria must be met:  1) all items must be purchased within Seven (7) days of each other.  2) All items must be paid for with one payment. 3) All items must be listed as combinable in the eBay auction.  Please wait for all of your auctions to end, and then use the "Combine Orders" option during eBay check-out to make sure shipping discount is applied correctly.  Do not make any payments for your combined purchase until all items have been correctly combined.  If you are waiting for multiple auctions to end please disregard any automated payment reminder emails you may receive.

 

International Shipping

With respect to international shipments, we have added the following two stipulations for your consideration:

  1. There are forms of international parcel tracking available, for an additional fee. If this is an item that you wish to be able to track en route from the United States, you will need to pay for this form of premium shipping.
  2. If you do not care to have this item tracke en route, than I am not responsible for the item's delivery once it leaves my possession at my local post office or UPS drop off location.

We believe in customer service, and will take EVERY return query seriously. At the same time, we will not accept frivolous returns, or won't be held responsible for international shipments because the item could not be tracked after its departure from the US.
