All eBay sales are final. All parts are sold "AS IS" with no warranty implied or otherwise unless noted in the ad. In some instances, there may be a manufacturers warranty, and it is the buyers responsibility to contact the manufacturer. Buyer assumes all liability of non-warrantied items.
We also include photographs of all components with a detailed description of what is being sold. If it is not in the photo or description, it is not part of the sale. If there is ANY question in your mind, please contact us BEFORE ordering and we will be happy to answer your questions.
Unless otherwise stated in the listing, all items shipped from Great Lakes Skipper are either in NEW or UNUSED condition. In many cases, the item is new but has been on a warehouse shelf quietly collecting dust. We also carry many items that were installed on a boat but then removed before the boat was completed. These items are still new but have been handled. Therefore we offer them at great savings! If an item is truly used, we will clearly state that in the listing. |

Samples and Windshield Templates |
If you are ordering gunnel molding, trim, vinyl, fabrics or carpets, please be aware that all computers can show colors differently. We cannot accept returns on any cut product such as gunnel molding, trim, vinyl, fabric and carpets. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you call us beforehand for a FREE sample.We will ship you up to 5 samples that you can use to make your eBay purchase from the correct listing.
We carry many windshields in-stock. Before buying any windshield, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you order a windshield template. Call our customer service team and we will create a special eBay listing that you can use to purchase the template. Templates are generally $20 and if you later purchase the windshield, we will be happy to discount your windshield purchase by $20. |

Changing and Cancelling Orders |
Sometimes you need to make changes to your order. We are happy to make order changes. However, please be aware that changing an order may incur additional charges not limited to additional shipping, order change fees and intercept fees.
Should you need to cancel an order, please contact our customer service team at 262-898-1855. There will be a 20% restocking charge ($8 minimum charge) PLUS all incurred shipping expenses. The buyer will receive a refund for the remaining value of the purchase. |

Exchanges |
On occasion our customers order the wrong parts. We are happy to make exchanges. However, due to the nature of our business, there are additional expenses not realized at other retail outlets.
Simply contact us and let us know you would like to exchange the product. We will need to know your order number, the product(s) that you would like to exchange, and the product(s) that you would like in exchange.
We will send you a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number in an email so you can return the original product. Once we have processed the return, we will complete the exchange order, and contact you for additional payment. There will be a flat $8 restocking charge, a new shipping charge in addition to any price difference.
If the new exchange product and all charges is less than the product value of your original order, we will send you an in-store merchandise credit (see below) for any remaining amount. |

Refunds |
At Great Lakes Skipper we offer hard-to-find and out-of-production boat parts at prices below manufacturer cost. However, on occasion, you might wish to return the product for a refund. We allow for refunds with some conditions.
Please note that returning a product for a refund is a costly venture. Before we approve a refund, we first attempt to find a better solution such as an exchange, a replacement order or even a discount.
A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS! If you believe that you have received the wrong product or you received a product not as we advertised, we can often correct the issue very quickly. In this case, we will ask you to take some digital photographs of the package label, the packaging, various angles of the product itself and close-ups of the specific issues and send them to us. Please give our Returns Manager a business day or two to review the images and we will often correct the issue without the expense of a return. Simply show us what went wrong and we'll do our best to fixt it!
If pictures of the issue does not correct the situation, then we can proceed with a refund under with some conditions.
Unless specifically approved by Great Lakes Skipper in writing, refunds will not be approved under ANY of the following conditions:
- More than 14 days have passed since the date the payment cleared;
- The eBay ad does not explicitly state that refunds are permitted;
- the item has been installed, powered-up, altered, or placed into service; It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the product is compatible with the application PRIOR TO installing or applying power to the product; we recommend professional installation of all products by certified marine installers to ensure the product does not become damaged during the installation process;
- the buyer signed for a package that was clearly damaged during shipping;
- the buyer refuses to accept package delivery, including refusal to respond to carrier notices to pick the package up at a local service center;
- buyer's remorse;
- any product that becomes unsellable during the fulfillment of the order; these products include custom cut products, carpets, seat and upholstery vinyl, wallpaper, fabrics, moldings and trim, general upholstery products, etc.
All refunds issued from Great Lakes Skipper will be subject to a reduction for:
- Our original shipping costs, including our original shipping expenses on "free shipping" items;
- 20% restocking charge on the product value OR $8.00, whichever is greater.
In order to obtain a refund for your order, you will need to contact Great Lakes Skipper using our Return Process below.
QUESTION: Can the restocking charge be reduced?
ANSWER: Absolutely!
We are happy to reduce the restocking charge. Rather than issue a refund, you have the option of accepting an in-store merchandise credit for your next purchase. In this case, just let us know you would like to accept the in-store merchandise credit and we will reduce the restocking charge to just $8. When your return is processed, we will send you a Store Credit Receipt that will be valid for one full year and can be applied to any purchase from Great Lakes Skipper. SEE THE IN-STORE CREDIT SECTION BELOW. |

In-Store Credit |
Rather than deal with the expenses of a refund, you can choose to accept an In-Store Merchandise Credit from Great Lakes Skipper. When you choose this option, we will reduce any restocking charges to a mere $8.
In-Store Credits are good for 1 year from the date of issue. They may be used on any eBay purchase. However, if you intend to apply an In-Store Credit to an eBay purchase, please contact our customer service team at 262-898-1855 BEFORE making your eBay purchase so we can use the eBay process -- which is to make a special ebay listing for your purchase. |

Return Process |
ATTENTION:
We will reject any packages that arrive at the warehouse without an approved RMA number.
Please review our listing very carefully. We work very hard to identify the manufacturer's part number, properly describe the item (appearance, color, etc), specifiy our approximate measurements and take detailed photographs of all the components you will receive.
Nevertheless, on occasion there is a need to return a product or item to Great Lakes Skipper. Please see REFUNDS and EXCHANGES above. Once you have determined that you need a refund or exchange, please use the following process to return your product:
1) REQUEST AN RMA
Within 14 days of final payment, contact Great Lakes Skipper and request a Return Authorization Number. Products returned to Great Lakes Skipper without an approved Return Authorization Number will be rejected at the warehouse AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE. If your return is the result of a dispute, your return still requires a Return Authorization Number that will be issued by Great Lakes Skipper through the disupte process.
2) PREPARE THE PRODUCT FOR RETURN SHIPPING
All products must be returned in sellable condition with all the original components. The product is still yours and will remain so until your package is received and inspected by our warehouse. Therefore, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you repackage the product in our original shipping box and then place that package into another box with adequate stuffing. The reason for this is that our original shipping boxes are no longer strong enough by themselves to survive a second trip in shipping.
3) WATCH YOUR EMAIL FOR OUR RMA NUMBER
Watch your email for your Return Authorization Number and return shipping instructions. RMAs are issued by email and depending on the circumstances of your case there may be specialized shipping instructions for the return. If you do not receive that email within 2 business days, check your spam folders and then contact us again.
4) SHIP THE PACKAGE
When you have received the RMA and shipping instructions, you will have 2 weeks to return the package. Your instructions will determine the correct methods to use. Until this package has returned to the warehouse and been fully inspected, this product is still the buyer's. Therefore we STRONGLY RECOMMEND using a premium shipping service that includes a tracking number. We also STRONGLY RECOMMEND insuring the package against loss and damage for the value of the product.
PLEASE NOTE: All return shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. We will not accept any packages sent postage due, freight collect, COD, or any packages that require US customs or duty payments.
5) SEND US THE TRACKING NUMBER
All returns should be shipped using a tracking number. To send us the tracking number, simply REPLY to the RMA email. Tell us how you shipped the package (what service you used) and include the tracking number. This helps us keep track of the shipment and process your return faster.
6) WATCH FOR OUR REPLY
Generally you will hear from us within 2 business days of the return arriving at the warehouse. However, during really busy times it can take up to 7 days to fully process your return and refund or exchange. We must inspect your return and then take the next steps to issue a refund or exchange order. Once a refund is issued, it can take up to 48 business hours to post on your account. We promise to get to your return as quickly as possible, so please give us up to 7 days before contacting us regarding the final status of the return and refund/exhchange.
Refunds will be issued within 7 days and will be subject to a reduction for:
- Our original shipping costs, including our original shipping expenses on "free shipping" items;
- 20% restocking charge on the product value OR $8.00, whichever is greater.
