| Shipping fees and Shipping Experience
We only use UPS which is not the least expensive but is the most reliable carrier.

We do not loose money on our shipping to promote our wines.

If there's a damage claim we don't wait until we are refunded by the carrier. We quickly replace, exchange or refund the money.

In addition to shipping fees, there will be a required 1% insurance fee that will be based on the overall price of the auction. This 1% insurance fee only covers damage caused in transport and NOT any damage caused by weather conditions. -
As of 09/25/2009, eBay has removed the "required insurance" tab in our invoicing and we will be adding the insurance under the Seller discounts (-) or charges (+).

From the federal mandate of an adult signature, UPS and other carriers charge a flat fee of $3.75 per delivery to check Identification hence the higher than normal shipping charge. We strictly abide by this law.

For our East Coast customers please keep in mind UPS takes 6 business days to ship so shipping your wine on a Monday means you'll get your wine the following Monday.

To protect wine from prolonged transit time, we minimize this by not shipping Ground or 2-Day packages past Wednesday or Overnight packages past Thursday. Please keep this in mind when paying for your wine.
Sales tax of 8.3% applies to any Washington state shipments. We also collect a shipping tax of 8% to all New Hampshire deliveries.

Free Summer Wine Storage Program
During the summer, we will store wine purchased from us at no cost for you in our temperature controlled facility. During the checkout process you will be asked if you would like us to hold onto your wines during the summer. We will contact you in the fall to ship your wines. It's that simple!
Please note: Items that are placed in summer storage will not be available or accessible until shipping occurs in the fall at which time we will be coordinating shipments according to your region and acceptable weather conditions. To help make shipping costs more efficient, any orders that are designated for summer storage and are made within 21 days will be combined and consolidated into 12 pack shippers. |
