    The NiCD line of DeWALT 18V tools can take advantage of the new technology to get 2 to 3 times the runtime of the battery.

   18 Volt

    The 18 Volt Nano Phosphate Lithium Ion batteries are lighter than NiCd or NiMH batteries. This allows you to get your job done without carrying more weight around. The 18 Volt Nano technology batteries weigh the same amount as the 12V XRP batteries.
    The 18V Nano technology batteries work with previously existing 18V DeWALT tools. There are currently 40 tools produced that are compatible with 18V Nano Technology system.
