About us
My great grandparents, Hautie and Headley, lived in a rural farming community in East Texas during the Great Depression. They bartered and traded goods and services to feed a large family. The community pulled together as a means to survive during hard times. Everything from chopping fire wood, taking in wash, trading butter and eggs--they did everything with the highest work ethic. They had the belief that if one is to make it in this world, you got to put in the effort.
Today, their great granddaughter has built a small Ebay business around the same work ethic. This is a part time endevor for me, as I have a full time job as an educator. I am bit of an eccentric when it comes to my store's selections. I try, like an old fashioned dry goods store, have a little bit of everything.
