R319-Helmar BIG LEAGUE Series This series of 180 art cards, like all Helmar art cards, is hand made and hand distressed. It is based upon original paintings done by our artists and is perhaps the most ambitious series ever undertaken by a small company. The backs have detailed biographies of the players, some of whom have never appeared on an art card before.
A copy of each of the 180 different art cards in the series will be offered at auction only ONCE every 8-10 weeks or even longer...A maximum of only six sets will be sold per year.

R321-Helmar 4 in 1 Series Features more Helmar original art in one of the most popular formats of vintage card history. Each art card has a theme showing four players on the same team, batting leaders, etc.
A copy of each of the different art cards in the series will be offered at auction only ONCE every 8-10 weeks or even longer...A maximum of only six sets will be sold per year.

Heroes of the Polo Grounds This 66 card set features early ballplayers that thrilled the crowds during the early days of one of baseball's iconic sites. While a few of the cards feature 19th century cards of heroes such as Buck Ewing, most of the series revolves around the famous New York Giant team circa 1908. The Giants came in a close second that year and all the stars are included that made 1908 the closest pennant race ever. Merkle, McGraw, Matty, Marquard all appear. Many players have multiple poses.
The cards are very thick, about 1/4 inch, and are die-cut so that the player portrait is set into a wonderful vintage image of the Polo Grounds. Four cards are die-cut with six ovals that highlight six different players. A copy of each of the different art cards in the series will be offered at auction only ONCE every 8-10 weeks or even longer...A maximum of only six sets will be sold per year.
