Station Street Online Auction Policies

At the End of an Auction
Shortly after the end of an auction or when an buyer has used the instant purchase feature to purchase an item the buyer will be notified at the email address they have registered with the auction site. This email will summarize the transaction details and includes detailed information on making payment by PayPal or money order/certified check.

Making Payment
A winning bid on an online auction site for a Station Street auction is a legal binding contract made between Station Street and the winning bidder. Payment must be received, or arrangements for payment must be made, within 3 days of the auction close. If no contact is made within 7 days after the auction close a Non-Paying Bidder Alert will be filed with the auction site, a negative feedback will be left for the buyer and the item will be relisted for sale.

Methods of Payment
Station Street accepts secure online credit card payments through PayPal using your Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover card or by e-check. We also accept money orders and certified checks.

PayPal Payments
For our customers paying via PayPal we will only ship to your PayPal Confirmed address.

NOTE: If you are unsure as to what this means, when using your credit card to pay for your order through our payment processor (PayPal) simply be sure to enter the same address for both the billing address of the credit card you choose to use and the shipping address for your order.

Our customer's security and protection against fraud is extremely important to us, therefore, there are no exceptions to the above term.

Returning Products
We go to great lengths to ensure that you receive your order in perfect working condition by inspecting each and every product that leaves our facilities. Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and that your product does not arrive DOA (dead on arrival). When you receive your package, we ask that you examine the outter shipping box as well as the inner product packaging closely prior to opening the product. If mishandling is suspected circle any excessive damage or punctures on the outter shipping box with a black permanent marker. If your item was damaged during shipment this will help should an insurance claim need to be filed.

If your product has arrived DOA or you are filing a warranty claim please fill out our RMA Request Form to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. It will take approximately 2 business days before an RMA number is issued to you. Within this time a representative may be in touch with you by email or by phone to aquire additional details regarding the claim. Along with the RMA number you will receive specific instructions for returning the product.

IMPORTANT: Packages returned without an RMA number will be refused. Your RMA number is valid for 14 days from issue. Simply package the item securely and return the product in the same condition as when you purchased it, with all manuals, accessories, and packing materials.

Please note that refunds are not available on opened software packages, video games, music CD's, DVD movies, computer components or consumable products (such as speaker wire).

If defective, products may be exchanged within 7 days of receiving them. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable, however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.

All products (both defective and non-defective) must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer.

Under special circumstances other than defective items, shipping errors and warranty issues an authorized return may be accepted. Returns under these circumstances will be subject to a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price of the item. This fee will be deducted from the total credit amount. Our original S&H costs to you will also be deducted from the total credit amount. On purchases paid using PayPal, the same email address used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

IMPORTANT: In the event that a returned order has items missing, the claim may be denied, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

FINAL VALUE FEES: Refunds for products covered under our Satisfaction Gaurantee (or under other special circumstances) will be issued after the successful reversal of any and all Final Value Fees that Station Street may have incurred on the auction site. In most cases the buyer who is returning a product must first verify with the auction site that the product has been returned and that Station Street will be issuing a refund according the auction TOS (Terms of Sale). Once the buyer completes this required step a refund will be issued in accordance with the auction TOS.

Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
On select items within our auction listings we offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee (currently ONLY on Streem Speakers). Eligible items will contain a section within the listing detailing the time frame for this guarantee. Within this time frame a buyer is able to return the purchased item to us for a complete refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling.

The buyer assumes all liability in returning the item to us, including return shipping fees, insurance costs and any applicable customs duty fees.

NOTE: For items being returned from the United States customs duty fees and/or taxes can be avoided by ensuring to write clearly on the Customs Declaration and Dispatch Note that the packages are being "Returned to Seller in Canada"

All returns must be received in their original condition with all boxes, internal and external, packing materials and accessories. Any missing materials or accessories will be deducted from the credit amount at their replacement cost.

Station Street reserves the right to deny acceptance of any parcel or parcels that have not been properly processed and prepared for shipment and/or have accumulated additional shipping, handling and/or custom duty fees or taxes.

REFUND REQUIREMENTS: After the product has been received with all included packing materials and accessories and the products has been physically inspected to ensure that it has returned in new condition the auction buyer must complete the process by confirming with the auction site that the buyer's purchase has been returned for a refund. This is necessary so we may claim our Final Value Fee credit from the auction site for the unsuccessful transaction. After the above conditions are met a full refund of the purchase price of the product can be completed and the transaction canceled.

EXEMPTIONS: Our 30-Day No Risk Guarantee is valid for a one-time use per customer. Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee extends to purchases made through the auction site which are shipped by professional courier from us and return shipped by professional courier to us only. No exceptions. Purchases picked up at our physical store are exempt from this policy. This guarantee does not extend to speakers or speaker packages sold as blemished or demo models or on orders shipped outside the continental US (lower 48 states) or 10 Canadian provinces.

Station Street currently ships to Canada and the United States only. We ship via UPS for most orders, however, Canada Post may be used for orders being shipped to PO or APO/FPO box addresses or under other special circumstances. All orders are normally shipped same or next business day. Yes, you read that right. Same or next business day shipping! Delivery time for orders is typically from 1 - 7 business days after shipment for UPS and Canada Post.

Although we will gladly ship to PO and APO/FPO box addresses some products, such as, home theater speakers and other large cartons, must be delivered by UPS and cannot be delivered to PO or APO/FPO box addresses. If you are unsure if your box address is acceptable for the product you are interested in please contact us directly. Additional fees may apply for orders shipped to PO or APO/FPO box addresses.

We adopt a "Fixed Price" pricing structure for the shipping costs related to each auction item listed by Station Street. Each item has a fixed S&H cost which allows you to see how much a particular item will cost to ship before going through checkout so there are no suprises when you are ready to pay for your order.

Combined Shipping
Many of the items that we make available on online auctions are eligable for combined shipping. Eligable products will contain details on the combined shipping cost of each additional item within the "Shipping Details" section of the auction listing. These products will have an initial S&H fee for the first unit purchased and a second reduced S&H fee for each additional unit.

Pricing and Currency
All product and shipping prices displayed within our auction listings are in the currency of the auction. The currency can be found at the top of each auction listing.

Canadian Sales Taxes
Sales *tax is applied to the purchase price only on all **Canadian orders as follows:

Ontario: 8% PST and 5% GST
Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland: 13% HST
All other Canadian Provinces: 5% GST
* appropriate sales tax is automatically applied during checkout
** there are no sales taxes applied to US orders

Order Confirmation and Validation
For the protection of our customers Station Street reserves the right to request additional information to confirm identity or validate an order. We have never and will never ship an order until we are convinced that no fraudulent action is present.

For this reason, your daytime contact phone number must be included for every order. If it is not included your order may be delayed until we are able to aquire your daytime number. This will be used for UPS deliveries and/or to confirm order or payment details.

Purchases Made by Minors
You must be the age of majority to place an order from a Station Street auction listing. If you are under the legal age of majority please have your parent or legal guardian place the order for you.

We strive to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information about our products, pricing and policies. In the event that such an error does occur, we reserve the right to cancel an auction at any time, correct the error in our auction listing(s) or any combination of the above.
