On Request we are now offering our cheaper ECO models, these models still comply with our rigorous food grade standards. ECO models differ from our standard distillation units in that they are manufactured with copper sheeting of less thickness, lead-free phosphorus solder is used instead of brass solder, the condensing unit has no water inlet, the serpentine coil in the condenser has less coils and no rapid release brass couplings are used to join the swan neck and the condenser as in our top of the line alembic units. The guarantee for these models is also reduced to 6 months as opposed to 24 months for our standard models. These models are not in permanent stock and are manufactured to order only.
