• Monday, January 16 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Please note that this Holiday is observed by the USPS, so new orders will not be able to be shipped that day (and orders already in transit will not be able to be delivered). After Friday (01/13), shipping will resume on the next business day: Tuesday, January 17. Please remember to keep the holiday and weekend in mind when estimating when your package will be shipped and/or delivered... estimates are given in terms of BUSINESS DAYS. (Please note that eBay's "delivery estimates" usually do not take weekends and holidays into consideration, so please do your own calculation; estimated production/handling times are specified in all my item descriptions, and can also be found on the eBay provided "Shipping and payments" Tab, below the "Domestic handling time" heading. If you have a question about your specific circumstances, please ask.)
• My Magnetic Clasp Converter listing will be coming back soon! The description and selection menus are undergoing some changes to make it easier for buyers to customize the converter to exactly what they want. The same four metal/color choices -- Silver-Plated, Gold-Plated, Sterling Silver and Gold Fill -- will still be available, and the components will be the same; however the buyer will now be able to select what will be on each end individually -- just like my Extender Chain listings are set up -- rather than having to select from pre-determined styles. This will give each purchaser greater flexibility in their choices, as well as make the process easier to follow. If you have any questions or suggestions for additional improvements, please let me know.

• HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you had a great Christmas season, and are looking forward to what the new year may bring!
• My eBay store reopened on January 6, and most listings should be reintegrated into eBay (and store) searches by now, so things should basically be back to normal. I pulled a few listings just before the holiday shutdown due to the renewal timing and the need for a few adjustments, so if something is missing that you are looking for, let me know and I will bump it to the top of my to-do list.
• I will be revamping my Velvet Choker listings for the 3/8 inch wide size a bit. In addition to some new photos, I will be changing the way the colors are listed. Since my initial offering, I have added a number of new colors, and -- as you can see -- they do not all fit in the same listing; so, there is no real rhyme or reason as to why the colors are separated the way they are other than the timing of availability and limits placed by the eBay system. I will be replacing the current listings with listings set up by color family... so all the shades of green will be in the same listing, for example. (More than one color group may be in a single listings, but you won't have to go to two different listings to see all the greens anymore.) The final details and photos are not ready yet, so for now the listings will remain as they are. I hope to be rolling out the new listings by the end of the month.
• Some other things to look forward to over the next few weeks and months...
  • New colors for the 7/8 inch and 1.5 inch Velvet Chokers (so those listings will be revamped as well).
  • Velvet Chokers in a 5/8 inch size, for those who want something a little wider than the 3/8 version, but not quite as wide as the 7/8 version. (If you have special color requests, let me know ASAP!)
  • New Seasonal Chokers, including Winter Snowflakes, Hearts for Valentine's Day and Spring-y Butterflies and Flowers!
  • Vampire Fang Pendants and Double Chokers.
  • Select pendants, including "Mood" Color Change Pendants! So, you can look forward to creating your own Custom Necklace by purchasing a Cord Necklace or Choker made to your own specifications AND a pendant... then your necklace can be completely assembled for you prior to shipment, and ready to wear right out of the box!
  • Gold Fill and Gunmetal will soon be available options for the lobster clasp/findings for my Cord Necklaces!
  • Extender Chains will be available in Gold Fill (this was already added as an option for my Magnetic Clasp Converters a few months ago).
  • Some previously offered cord types, such as P'Leather and Soft Glass will be relisted.
  • New cord types, such as Nylon and Velveteen Rubber will be added.
• I will continue to revamp my eBay store pages so they are as helpful to you as possible. I recently overhauled my FAQs page to clean it up a little, and more "questions" will be added. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I am also working on new versions of my other store pages, but I assume most of those updates will be delayed until the second half of year.
• As always, if you have special requests, questions, or can't find what you're looking for in my eBay store, let me know. Have a great 2012!

• IMPORTANT! The last day to purchase from my eBay Store before the "Holiday Shutdown" is Tuesday, December 13. Payment must be received and CLEARED by Wednesday, December 14 to ensure that the order can be shipped in 2011. Any orders that are not paid for (including eChecks that have not cleared) by December 14 may not be able to be shipped until the second week of January. If you have questions about a specific order (or item) please ask me ASAP. Existing eCheck payments already have an estimated clearing date of December 14, so I strongly advise against paying for any new orders with an eCheck, as it will most likely NOT clear -- and therefore payment will not have been made -- in time to meet the deadline.
• Please understand that during the "Holiday Shutdown" I will have NO access to the internet, order/payment/package tracking details nor the items (and components thereof) that I sell. I understand that this may be as inconvenient for you as it is for me, and for that I apologize, and I request your patience and understanding. I will most likely be "offline" beginning on the evening of Friday, December 16. I expect to be back "online" sometime between Friday, January 6 and Monday, January 9. (Actual dates may vary slightly, as there are many factors that can affect this.)
• I will still be available for questions and other communications until the afternoon of December 16. However, to ensure that a response is actually viable, please get your questions in as early as possible. (Questions that cannot be answered before I am offline will be answered -- in the original order in which they were sent -- when I regain internet access.)
• To my INTERNATIONAL Customers: Please understand that due to higher volumes (and possible weather-related delays) at this time of year, as well as recently heightened security measures at airports and in Customs, packages shipping from the U.S. to other countries are taking longer to be delivered than you may be accustomed to. It is NORMAL for First Class packages shipped between November and January to take between 3 weeks and 6 weeks to be delivered. Some can even take as long as 8 weeks. I understand that this can be frustrating for both of us, and patience can wear thin around the holidays, but please "hang in there." If your package seems to be taking way to long to arrive, please contact your Customs office to inquire if they are holding the package. Customs will usually indicate that they cannot track your package for you; however if they are holding it and waiting for some action from you, they should be able to tell you that (I would hope). If Customs is not holding it, and it has been over 6 weeks since it was shipped, please contact me. (Please note that I may not be able to respond until January 9. Please see above for details.)
