At the Spring 2009 Runway shows  Ralph Lauren teamed colorful shirts and sweaters with white trousers, shorts and jackets.  Lots of white and lots of clear bright color.    The retro look was featured in a number of outfits from a 1930's look to 1960's memories of madras.  Cargo pants and shorts completed many outfits...both slim and full cut cargoes.

Tommy Hilfiger also used much white with preppy designs in navy, beige and grays. 

Lacoste showed its predictable resort look...new and sporty.  There was a nice use of black and white with clear sherbet hues in accent. 

Perry Ellis's all-American casual and comfortable style also used the clear blues, oranges and pinks.

Have plenty of jeans and T-shirts for comfort but think color for your other shirts and pair them with white, khaki (always in) and other neutral colors
