Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if your watches are authentic?

Inventory Adjusters Inc. has been in the closeout business for many years and has been specializing in the liquidation of watches for over 10 years. Even though we obtain our watches and jewelry only from respected sources, each piece is inspected for authenticity. We guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell.

Are your watches new?

We inspect each watch for authenticity, defects, and install a new high quality battery in each watch. Since we are not affiliated with any watch manufacturer this by industry standards requires us to label the watch as a refurbished watch even if it is a brand new watch.

Will I get the original box and papers with my watch?

We normally do not get the original box and papers with the watches. Most of the time your watch will be shipped to you in a very nice generic gift box with our one year warranty. There are times when we get watches in the original box with papers and when this happens you will get these, however since we are not an authorized dealer our warranty will apply.

What does your warranty cover and how is it different from the original warranty?

Inventory Adjusters watches are warranted for a period of one year from the date of original purchase against defects in either material or workmanship. Inventory Adjusters will repair or replace, at the company's option, the movement of the timepiece if such movement proves to be defective. This warranty does not cover batteries, leather straps, bracelets, crystals, cases, or metal plating. This warranty does not cover accidents, misuse, or neglect and is void if the watch has been opened or taken apart, or has been serviced by any party other than Inventory Adjusters Inc. Our warranty is patterned after the warranty supplied by a major Swiss watch company. At this time we do not offer an extended warranty but we are looking into this possibility.

How can you sell the watches at such low prices?

We purchase our watches as closeouts, bankruptcies, overstocks, and barters in very large quantities. We also save on the cost of our product by not paying a premium price for box and papers.

Is there a return policy if I'm not satisfied with the watch?

If you are not satisfied with your watch you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt of the watch to receive authorization to return the watch. There will be a ten percent restocking fee to cover our handling costs. We must receive the watch, in an unused and undamaged condition. We will not refund any shipping charges or taxes.

If I have a problem with my watch how do I get it repaired under your warranty?

If your watch should need repair under our warranty simply send us the watch along with your warranty card and proof of date of purchase. Usually your watch will be repaired and on it's way back to you within one week.

What can I do if I damage my watch and it is not covered by the warranty?

We may be able to help you. Call us and we can give you a repair estimate before you send it in. Your satisfaction as a customer is very important to us and we will keep your repair cost as low as possible.

Hidden Deployment Clasp

A hidden deployment clasp is the type where the clasp is invisible when it is being worn. The ends of the bracelet come together to meet so that none of the clasp shows. This is done to help the appearance.

                                         Clasp Closed                                                            Clasp Partially Open

Clasp Fully Open                                                         Button Release Type

Make sure the clasp is opened on both sides.
If the clasp is not fully open the watch will probably not fit over the hand.
