This variance in color is due to a variety of reasons. The lighting (daylight, fluorescent, or flash) that was used when taking the photograph. The resolution of your color monitor, the brand of monitor you have, the way it is set, etc and because all color monitors display color slightly different. Yes, even your monitor.
