Do you re-size rings?
We do resize rings. If you do request resizing it can delay delivery of an item from 1 to 5 days.
Rings can usually be resized up or down no more than 2 sizes. We are now offering Free resizing on all rings over 500$!
Since we have a ‘full refund’ policy on all our items we will charge $15 if a resized ring will be sent back for refund.
Rings below 500$ are 15$ to re-size.
Do we offer appraisal/certificate with our products?
To guarantee the reliable quality of all our items and give you the ultimate peace of mind and confidence, we have provided you with an appraisal report containing a detailed grading report free of charge on most listed items! Every certificate includes specifications about gemstones and jewelry.
What is the source of our diamonds?
All our rough diamonds have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflicts and in compliance with UN resolutions. We hereby guarantee that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
Do you sell new jewelry?
All our items are new, we do not sell estate or used jewelry.
Why are your prices lower than retail prices in stores?
Due to our incredible volume purchase and purchasing power we have fully vertically integrated operations. We control the whole process from gemstone cutting to selling retail.
Do you sell lab created or man made gemstones?
At JBN Gems Inc. we never sell lab created or man made gemstones. All our gemstones are genuine and mined.

What grading system do you use for gemstones?
At JBN Gems Inc. we use GIA(Gemmological Institute of America) grading system. You can visit GIA and study the system by yourself or follow one of the links below.
The following criteria for each clarity type set the final clarity grade:
Type I clarity grades (Aquamarine, Smokey Quartz, Kunzite, Topaz, Green Tourmaline, Tanzanite)
- Eye-clean—appears clean to the unaided eye
- Slightly included—minute inclusions difficult to see with the unaided eye
- Moderately included—minor inclusions somewhat easy to see with the unaided eye
- Heavily included—prominent inclusions that have a negative effect on appearance or durability
- Severely included—prominent inclusions that have a severe effect on appearance, durability, or both
Type II clarity grades (Alexandrite, Sapphire, Ruby, Garnet, Iolite, Peridot, Amethyst, Citrine, blue orange and yellow, multi- colored Tourmaline)
- Eye-clean—appears clean to the unaided eye
- Slightly included—minor inclusions somewhat easy to see with the unaided eye
- Moderately included—noticeable inclusions apparent to the unaided eye
- Heavily included—prominent inclusions that have a negative effect on appearance or durability
- Severely included—prominent inclusions that have a severe effect on appearance, durability, or both
Type III clarity grades ( Emerald, Red and Pink Tourmaline)
- Eye-clean—appears clean to the unaided eye
- Slightly included—noticeable inclusions apparent to the unaided eye
- Moderately included—obvious inclusions very apparent to the unaided eye
- Heavily included—prominent inclusions that have a negative effect on appearance or durability

How do you ship items over 1,000$?
We ship all items up to 50,000 via FedEx, with full insurance. Items over 50,000 are shipped via Brinks.
Do you ship International?
We do ship items internationally. Please email or call us to find out if your item can be shipped to your country and for the rates of the shipment. You can also find international rates on each separate listing.
Does the Shipping & Handling fees include insurance?
All of our products come with an optional insurance. Items 300$ and more are automatically insured with the shipping charge. Items that offer free shipping are 100% insured for a full price.
Can I combine multiple items into 1 shipment?
We combine shipping on most of our items. Please view the auction for a rate of combined shipping at the bottom of every separate auction. If you do not see it listed, shipping is combined as follows:
Buy 2 items- pay 1 shipping rate.
Buy 4 items- pay 2 shipping rates.
Buy 5 or more items- pay 3 shipping rates.
For example if you purchase a ring for 150$ and necklace for 200$ we would only charge you a single shipping rate of 10$ regular or 30$ next day via FedEx.

If I send payment today, how fast can you ship?
All items are sent the same day of payment except items that have been paid by e-check and are waiting to be cleared. When your e-check or personal check clears your item is sent the same day.
Can you do expedited delivery?
At JBN Gems Inc. we offer expedited delivery at the bottom of every auction page. Please review the listing separately and email us if you cannot find express shipping rate. Expedited shipping is 10$, next day service with FedEx is 30$ unless stated otherwise.
How long will it take to receive my item?
Please allow 2 to 6 days to receive an item after we ship it. FedEx shipments arrive the next day in all metropolitan cities.
Can I pay by check?
Yes, we do accept personal checks and e-checks, however we hold shipping on the item until the check clears our account.
If you take into consideration the time you mail a check and the 10 day hold we place on shipping it can take up to 2 weeks before we ship from the time you mail your check. For faster service it is recommended you send a Bank Check or money order and we will then ship normally same business day not including weekends or holidays.
There is no exception to this rule so please do not ask. Any check returned from your bank for any reason will be assessed a $40.00 NSF fee.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept most methods of payment such as Visa/MC/Amex, e-check, personal check, money order, bank check and most preferred PayPal.
If you pay by regular check we hold your item for 10 days from the time we deposit your check not when it clears your bank.

How do I check If my payment via PayPal has gone through?
The easiest way to find out if a payment has been sent by PayPal is to log into your PayPal account and click on the History tab. The History section will show you all the payments you have successfully sent.
What is the checkout procedure and why is it important?
Checkout is a step after you have added items into your "Shopping Cart" and before you send the payment. Think of checkout like a shopping cart, Items that you have purchased from us are automatically stored in your cart.
