Notes on Shipping

Your shipping charges:

I am careful with shipping, including the charges.  As a buyer as well as a seller on eBay, I realize the cost of shipping from both ends of the spectrum.

One of the things that the USPS implemented during their latest rate hikes was a surcharge for packages over 1 cubic foot in size.  That means that now, a package over the size of 12" square is charged for both weight and size.  Since I am in Alabama, the farther the shipping zone from me (ie beyond the Rockies), the more expensive the package.  If you would like for me to check the rates for other shipping services, just ask.  I am happy to assist you in any way that I can to lower the rate.

I do not add any additional charges for using the new packing material or boxes that you will get.  As a business person, I realize that those items are business expenses, not to be charged off to my customer.

So, when your shipping is figured from my door to yours, rest assured that the charges are for the exact shipping and only the shipping charges.  If you feel that there is a mistake, contact me at once.  I will happily refigure the shipping for you or change to a cheaper form of shipping.  It is my pleasure to make shopping here at Janieruth's Fabulous to Funky Finds an easy and enjoyable experience for my customers, the most important people in the world!
