| | Grading System for Hanging Scrolls
EXCELLENT : The hanging scroll itself is in brand new condition or shows little signs of having been hung.
VERY GOOD : The hanging scroll has been hung some times, and might have slight stains and/or wear, which is acceptable.
GOOD : The hanging scroll has been hung so much that it suffers from normal stains, wear, creasing, discoloration, etc.
FAIR : The hanging scroll has not been cared for properly and it will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR : The hanging scroll is still just hangable but it will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Please remember almost all of our items are used one, some of which are over 100 years old. |
