 Since 1976 Johnson String Instrument has been serving the stringed instrument community and we have become New England's largest and most complete violin shop. Sheet music, strings, metronomes, tuners, instrument stands... we carry just about everything for violins, violas and cellos.
Purchasing a new instrument is a rite of passage in the musical development of a player, regardless of his or her ability, level, or price range. Our goal is to provide you with a variety of instruments and bows to choose from. We travel internationally in order to hand select instruments and bows and to personally evaluate the work of the makers we represent.
