Commonly Asked Questions About Shipping

Do You Combine Shipping?
Yes, I combine shipping on items you purchase and will give you the best shipping price I possibly can. In some instances, I can give you a better price than is shown on the Shipping Calculator in my listings. If you think that your shipping price is much higher than expected, please contact me before checking out or sending your payment. If there is an error, I will send you an invoice with a new, updated shipping cost.

When Will You Ship My Order?
I normally ship all of my orders within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment, many times within the same day. Although rare, on occasion it may necessary to wait an additional day before shipping due to situations beyond my control.

Is My Package Insured Against Loss or Damage?
Yes, all of my shipments are insured under a private carrier although your package will not show that it is insured on the label. If you receive a package that has been damaged or you suspect that it has been lost, please contact me to discuss your options.

What Happens if I Receive the Wrong Item or My Item Was Damaged In Shipping?

Frequently Asked Questions About International Shipments

How Long Will it Take My Shipment to Be Delivered?
Delivery times vary dramatically from country to country, but in almost all cases, your shipment will be as follows. During holidays and peak mailing time, you can expect longer delivery times. These times are estimates and your shipment make take more or less time.

  • First Class Mail International
    Estimated to take 2-4 weeks but can take up to 6 weeks

  • Priority Mail International                  
    Estimated to take 1-3 weeks but can take up to 6 weeks

  • Express Mail International
    Estimated to take 1 week or less, but can take longer in rare circumstances

Will I have to Pay Import Tax?
Yes, most likely you will have to pay an import tax when you receive your item. It is not included in the price of your item. Import tax varies widely by country and it is your responsibility to be aware of your country’s import taxes before your order your item. Most countries have a small limit on the amount you may import without tax, usually around $20 USD, but this is not true in every country. Please check with your country’s Customs office or website for more information.

Will You Declare My Items on Customs Forms as Gift/s?
No. On your packages Customs Form I declare all merchandise accurately and state the value as the amount that you paid for your item. No exceptions. To declare your items as “Gifts” is a crime in the US and would be considered a felony offense.

Is My International Shipment Trackable?
No, not usually. Shipments sent via USPS First Class Mail International and Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes are not trackable. The number on your package is a Customs Number and is not used for tracking. In some cases, the Customs Number can be used to confirm that your package was shipped, although this is not always the case.

If I Want My International Shipment to Be Trackable, What Delivery Service Should I Select?
