Store Policies

Kelly's Beauty Supply is a small independent on-line beauty supply store that offers Brand New, Never Used, Never Opened, Fresh, High End professional Beauty Supply products. We have negotiated contracts with some of the best, most reputable authorized distributors in the industry. The products that we sell are the EXACT same products that are sold in fine salons.
Our business principles are simple:
1) Offer Authentic Products
2) Pack and Ship them as soon as possible.
3) Keep it Simple
Life is complicated. Kids are complicated. Work is complicated. Shopping online should make life easier- not complicate things more. We keep it simple by answering your questions in a timely manner, packing your products securely so that you don't find a puddle of shampoo on your front porch, and mostly just being honest. If we mess up, (occasionally we do!) We fix it. Simple.

We accept Paypal and would prefer payment within 24 hours. We understand however, that this is not always realistic. Sometimes you want to keep shopping and the kids are screaming and you need to go. It happens. Sometimes in the middle of checking out, your boss comes in to check on XYZ. It happens. Sometimes you are bidding on multiple items and you want more time to shop. It happens. We just ask that you pay as soon as possible. When you bid on an item and don't pay for it, we lose out on our listing fees and Ebay still collects its Final Value fees. It creates more paperwork and administrative hassles, which takes away from time we could be spending with customers.
PAYPAL: Paypal accepts Credit Cards, Checks and Bank Transfers. You DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to pay with a credit card through paypal. Just follow the prompts when you check out. You should know, that if you pay with your debit card, or an echeck, Paypal takes 4-10 business days to clear your payment. We do not ship any packages until payment has cleared.
MONEY ORDERS: We gladly accept money orders sent by mail. We also accept International Money Grams. If you will be paying with a Money Order or Money Gram, please let us know so that we can expect it and set your products aside. If you are sending a Money Gram, we will also need the authorization code to collect the payment.
CHECKS: We don’t accept personal checks under any circumstances. This isn’t a reflection on you but, rather, the unfortunate reality of today's economic climate. We can't afford to pay the fees imposed from the bank from depositing a check that has insufficient funds.

We always try to ship within 24 hours, but occassionally if a product is back ordered or out of stock, it can take an additional 4 days. If this happens, we will ALWAYS let you know. We ship using the United States Post Office. Our preferred method for shipping is United States Priority Mail. We ship using the most ecomonical shipping method we can find. We usually charge a flat standard fee or calculated fee based on your location. The charges occasionally include the actual shipping fee plus a small handling component that takes into accout many expenses (labels, time to process customs forms, packing materials, ink, etc.). There are a number of items in the store that can be shipped together for an additional $2. If you are purchasing multiple items, however, they may not always fit within the same packaging, or it may not make sense to pay $2 for each additional items. In this case, notify us via Ebay messaging system and we can recalculate shipping for you and send you an invoice. For example, if you buy 4 of the same item, it may not make sense to pay the original shipping fee plus 2+2+2 on top. If may be cheaper to ship via product weight. We will work with you to find the best option.
When we print the label for your package, you will recieve an email letting you know that your packaged shipped. We DO NOT print a label until the package is packed and ready to be given to the carrier for pickup. If you recieve a confirmation email notifying you of shipping, you can trust that your item is in the hands of the USPS. Your confirmation email will also provide you with a label id number. This number is not a tracking number. When your package is delivered to you, it will be scanned by the USPS to let me know that it was delivered. This number will be updated with the delivery information. So if you did not recieve the package, and you look at the number with the USPS, and it still says that it is pending. Don't be alarmed. This is normal.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship worldwide. Most packages arrive within 2 weeks of shipment, but you should know that MANY packages do not. Shipping to UK and especially Italy can often take 6-8 weeks to arrive. This is NOT because we didn't ship it, but because the USPS or Customs is processing it. We cannot be repsonsible for items that are delayed by USPS and customs. Most small international packages are shipped in a box inside a flat rate envelope. The envelopes make it economical for you, however they are not scanned by USPS. Once the package is picked up by the carrier, it is impossible to track. If you absolutely positively have to have an item within a certain amount of time, we recommend using Global Express Mail. It costs considerably more but is much more reliable in terms of tracking.
CUSTOMS: International bidders are responsible for all applicable customs fees/taxes. We usually try to assist you in this area, but cannot control customs.
INSURANCE: Purchasing Insurance is optional but highly recommended. Insurance is purchased from the United States Postal Service, or from a 3rd party vendor. Even if you did not purchase insurance, please notify us if there is anything wrong with your order.
RETURN POLICY
Kelly's Beauty Supply does accept returns. If you purchase an item and are not satisfied with the product. Notify us immediately. We will do what we can to make it right. Since shipping is an expense that we pay directly to the USPS, we unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges. |
