| 1. As soon as you receive your item, check it out and if it is fine, leave the seller positive feedback.
2. If there is an issue. DON"T leave feedback right away. Contact the seller. Be polite and be positive. Most of the sellers are people, not corporations. They will work with you. Honest mistakes can happen, and most of them take pride in what they do and want to make it right. Give them the chance and then leave a positive. Because an excellent seller is not just that quick easy transaction, but also the one who communicates and works with you.
3. Let the seller know that you are looking for a happy ending for all. Be understanding and patient. I always tell them that once it is fixed I will leave them good feedback.
4. Pay attention when you receive your package. Most of the time the shipping cost is in line with what the seller charges. If you agree to buy an item at the cost listed, DON'T hit the seller for high costs. After all, you agreed to it. And also, do not penalize them for the time the post office takes. I had my post office send a package all over the place. The poor seller was frantic. The post office finally got it to me, so I let the seller know all was well and left them positive feedback.
5. Try and understand, that although positive feedback and stars are like "play" for us buyers, it is serious for the sellers. It can affect their livelihood and reputation. Leaving negative feedback should always be a last resort and extreme cases only.
