Founded in 1977 by a small group of devout audiophiles, Mirage soon earned an international reputation for creating speakers which cater not only to the technological demands of the most discerning listeners but to the music lover deep in us all. The original Mirage model was so named because it met the design team’s goal of developing a speaker which the listener would forget is a speaker – a speaker which would create so believable a soundstage that it would seemingly disappear into the room. They achieved that objective with stunning success as thousands of music and home theater critics have attested. It would seemingly disappear into the room.
