More than 95% of all paid orders ship the same day or following business day.
If you desperately need an item immediately the next day you must call to see if its even possible.
Overnight shipping is both extremely expensive and highly undependable. We never recommend overnight shipping.
A small number of orders have a lead time for the following reasons listed below.

Did you allow enough time for the item to arrive?
Number of days varies with each shipping company. Each company is described in detail on this page.
Posted lead time
Go back to the auction and reread it completely. Is there was a posted lead time? Some items can take up to 30 days to arrive. If so we always post this lead time in the auction.
Combined shipments
Combining different items can cause a 2 to 5 day lead time.
Incomplete shipping information.
Mail in payments that are incomplete or illegible may never arrive.
Bad shipping information
Make sure that both your eBay registered address and your paypal registered address are accurate and current.
Unconfirmed address
If your paypal address is unconfirmed we might hold up your order to confirm your address.
Factory direct shipment
Some items are factory direct and may have a lead time. If no lead time is posted most all factory direct shipments a filled in 3 business days.
Shipping company mistake
Its rare but the best packed boxes get delayed, damaged or destroyed in transit. Shipping lables come off. Snowy or rainy conditions ruin the box. Do you recall that American Touristor commercial in the 70's That wild gorilla got loose in the warehouse and tore your package up.

| Which shipping company for my order? |

Shipping company will vary on individual items.
Orders are shipped by our choice unless you specify on the telephone.
Large farm machinery and golf cars must ship via motor freight.
All orders with a P.O. box must go through the United States Post Office.
Most all other orders ship via UPS or Spee Dee
Factory direct shipments can be UPS, FedEx, California Overnight or DHL

Large products, farm machines and golf cars are typical motor freight orders.
Most golf car bodies and golf car tops are motor freight items.
There are many complications and restrictions to motor freight, these are just a few minium requirements.
A full size semi-truck and trailer must be able to legally and safely drive to your location.
You must be on a truck route.
You must be on a paved road where a truck can enter and leave. No dirt roads or gravel roads.
You must have a forklift and a loading dock.
You must have a commercial destination open during the daytime business hours.
Motor freight shipments can take up to two weeks or so to arrive.
There is no way to rush a motor freight shipment.

Books, manuals, and items that fit in the palm of your hand are good items for USPS shipments.
All P.O. box addresses must be shipped via USPS.
Unless you pay extra there is no insurance for USPS shipments.
There is very limited tracking to USPS shipments. We use delivery confirmation tags.
Delivery confirmation tags are used on www.usps.com. They only show two pieces of information. Date and time sent. Date and time delivered. There is nothing else available for an item in transit.
Most all of our USPS shipment go via Priority Mail.
The post office states priority mail is 2 to 3 business days. In extreme cases please allow up to two weeks for priority mail to arrive.
We do not use Express Mail (overnight service) as it has limitations and is expensive.
We do not use media mail as its extremely slow, it can be 4 to 6 weeks for arrival.

We do not use parcel post (surface mail) as its extremely slow, it can be 6 to 8 weeks for arrival.
We quit using parcel post when we had a 10lbs box go to Belize taking 5 months and 1 week to arrive.

If your package is shown not moving for more than one week day the its most likely lost and delayed.
Call us if your tracking number shows that its lost as we must notify UPS and make arrangements for a replacement shipment.

Remember that within 10 days of Christmas UPS does not guarantee arrival dates.

There is tracking to Spee Dee shipments.
Delivery tracking numbers are not used online. Tracking is only available over the telephone.
Most all of our midwest region shipments go via Spee Dee ground service.
Generally 1 to 3 business days after shipment. Weekends and holidays do not count a shipping days. In extreme cases please allow up to two weeks for shipments to arrive.
They are highly dependable but there is no guarantee to Spee Dee arrival date.
There is no rush service available through Spee Dee.

Prevent damages before they occur
We go to great lengths to properly package all shipments.
Less than 1 in 1000 shipments are damaged in transit.
If the order was properly insured you are eligible for a free replacement or a refund.
Every shipping carrier has different rules but here are three basic guidelines.
Box exterior damaged and delivered when you are home
If a box is damaged when it arrives refuse the package as damaged.
Call us to report the damage.
Box exterior damaged and delivered when you are not home
If a package arrives damaged and was delivered when you were not home call us to report the damage.
Good box, broken contents
If a package looks good but the contents are damaged call us to report concealed damage. |
