Welcome to Krafts n Klutter!!

My name is Klara and I’ve been crafting most of my life. I grew up in Europe where we had no TV and the women in the family gathered around the radio in the evenings and did knitting, crocheting, embroidery and weaving. I was fascinated by the beautiful things my mom, aunt, grandmother and great aunts made and wanted to learn as soon as I could. After I turned 5 my mom started teaching me and that was the beginning of my love and appreciation for unique, hand made items.

The Krafts...

Two years ago I took a class on making greating cards and working with polymer clay. That was a new form of crafting for me and I was immediately hooked. Now I have a new outlet for my creativity.

I have always given my hand made items as gifts to friends and family over the years but as my stock grew, I knew needed another market. Last year I started going to local craft shows and did well enough to keep doing it. Now its time for a larger audience, so we decided to try an on-line store.

The Klutter...

As I get closer to retirement I realized I would have to downsize and do something with the beautiful things I have collected over the years. Hopefully they’ll go to a good home and bring as much joy to someone else as they have bought to me.
