GOING GREEN IN THE MODERN WAY

Do you already know what it means to "go green"? This doesn't mean just limiting yourself to doing as much recycling as possible, but also means considering how you spend your consumer dollars on everything from household products to children's toys.

How do these activities connect to going green? Consider brands like Educo and Fuzzibunz. They are companies that help people to lead a totally green lifestyle by presenting them with the products that they need, but also making these products in a way that doesn't harm the planet. This is the epitome of the green lifestyle, and is much easier than people might think.

Let's look at the Fuzzibunz diaper brand as an example. This is a reusable diaper that is made from earth-friendly materials and allows parents to raise their children entirely free of the toxic disposable diapering systems. Instead, the diapers use a fleece lining, a waterproof exterior, and remarkably stylish colors and patterns to serve in the exact same manner as the more convenient but landfill clogging disposables.

The parents or family that relies on Fuzzibunz diapers will end up saving tons of money on products that they would have otherwise thrown in the nearest garbage bin, but they also save a lot of natural resources too. Consider that disposable diapers use wood pulp, water, plastic, and other materials that are used once and then tossed away.

A lot of green living is about avoiding the waste of materials, but there is also a very interesting "flip side", which is to take discarded materials, or materials that might otherwise go to waste, and do something with them.

This is precisely what consumers will find when they purchase toys made by Educo. This is a line of toys meant primarily to be developmental and educational, but which also follow remarkably earth friendly policies too. For example, they have a line of food and cooking related toys that are manufactured from wood and use only child-safe and formaldehyde free glues and paints. This means that even as you encourage the child to play with the toys you won't also have to constantly discourage them from putting them in their mouth or handling them too much.

The company is also known for its soft toys as well, and these are made with environmentally safe fabrics and dyes that can give parents peace of mind that their children can enjoy years of play without any risks and that the worn out toys can be discarded without damaging the planet either.

Something that most people following the green lifestyle will know is that it does seem to cost a bit more "up front" to obtain the most eco-friendly products and supplies, but this is something that also tends to pay off in the end. For example, when you support earth conscious businesses such as Fuzzibunz or Educo, you are ensuring that they can carry on in their line of work or their industry. Over time this translates to more customers, and this means that prices will decline. Today's green shoppers are paving the way for even more affordable green options in the future, and this too is another reason to consider going green right away.
