Option to use StarOptions at Starwood Vacation Ownership Resorts (37,000 StarOptions every year) or trade with Interval International

Q:   What are StarOptions and how do they work?
A:   StarOptions are the trading tool used within the Starwood Vacation Network to reserve vacations at Starwood Vacation Ownership resorts.

StarOptions give you the flexibility to vacation in different Villa Types, Seasons and for different lengths of stay at your Home Resort or at other Starwood Vacation Ownership resorts available through the Starwood Vacation Network. There is no exchange fee to utilize this option.

Your vacation ownership interest has a specific StarOptions value based on the Season in which you own and your Villa Type. Each Use Year you receive a specific number of StarOptions in your Starwood Vacation Network account, which you can use to "trade" your Home Resort week for a variety of vacation experiences at other resorts in the Starwood Vacation Network.
