IN ADDITION, I DO NOT RESPOND TO QUESTIONS OR INQUIRIES ON EBAY'S FORUM CONCERNING ITEMS THAT I DO NOT HAVE LISTED ON EBAY!!! THAT IS WHY I HAVE MADE THE EFFORT TO INCLUDE MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION IN MY INFORMATION!!! If I do not respond to your email, you can be certain that I'm NOT GOING TO IF IT HAS ALREADY BEEN COVERED OR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LISTED ITEMS!! On another note. Every time I list an item on ebay, I make a CONSCIOUS CHOICE to NOT add an "or-best-offer" icon...I also go to the effort to add the statement "ALL LISTED PRICES ARE 100% FIRM" to EVERY SINGLE AD....another conscious choice...seems to me to be pretty self-explanitory however I am sorry to say that it seems to escape many folks....I have NO clue how to be any more clear up front...If a person is not capable of READING an ad, I fail to see how they will be capable of READING an email response from me! Emailing me with offers of negotiation is therefore a complete waste of OUR time! I apologize that my efforts to answer such questions with crystal clarity in my ads is somehow insufficient! Truth be told, I, as well as EVERY single other ebay seller already is selling our items for less!! Besides my monthly ebay store subscription fees and my monthly item listing fees, ebay takes anywhere between 8%-12% off the top of every sale and if you use PayPal, they take another 3%....ebay sellers already aren't receiving the amount you are spending!! We ARE selling our items for less at the LISTED prices!! I am not upset about it, it's part of the deal however I do not hesitate to price my items accordingly! I have not remained in this business for over three decades by giving things away...! Another point arises, if you find my pricing objectionable, there are better deals to be found buying from folks who are cleaning out their garages and are reliant on other forms of income than selling their items for a living..thats, no news flash! Sure, I want your business however you and I should look at these things realistically. On another subject, it's disappointing enough that only about 1 IN 20 ebayers "BOTHER" to leave FEEDBACK...Now ebay allows buyers to RATE THE SELLERS!! Great except many seem to feel that this is some sort of a game....I go to great lengths to accurately and honestly describe my items...yet DAILY I am asked questioins that ARE CLEARLY COVERED IN MY DESCRIPTIONS!!! NOT AS DESCRIBED? OR....BUYER NOT PAYING ATTENTION?? ebay doesn't seem to to know but I see it EVERY day!! The postmarks on my packages are ALWAYS THE SAME DAY OR THE NEXT DAY...SAME DAY SHIPPING? WHY IS THAT NOT ALWAYS 5 STAR SERVICE??? HOW DO YOU SUGGEST I SPEED THIS UP??? SHIPPING CHARGES?? I spend thousands of dollars on shipping supplies, hours of time and many gallons of fuel delivering the items that I ship and that is above and beyond the $12,000-$15,000 I spend annually on postage alone just for my little bitty business AND....I am quite certain WE SURELY ALL KNEW ABOUT THESE THINGS WHILE WE SIT AT OUR PC's TAKING STARS OFF DON'T WE....?? Buyers, while I value very highly, should THINK TWICE BEFORE WHINING ABOUT EXCESSIVE SHIPPING CHARGES BY POSSIBLY....SAY...LOOKING BEYOND THE END OF THEIR NOSES!!! COMMUNICATION?? LOOK AT ONE'S FEEDBACK COMMENTS IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT A SELLER'S SERVICE IS LIKE!!! I HAVE A CHOICE OF EITHER a) SENDING YOU 17 EMAILS ASSURING YOU THAT I AM DOING WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO....OR b). SPEND THAT TIME ACTUALLY PROVIDING SAID GOOD SERVICE!! LETS SEE....LET THEM TAKE A CRACK AT ME FOR NOT SENDING EMAILS..? OR LET THEM TAKE A CRACK AT ME FOR MY "SLOW" SAME DAY SERVICE!!!! Most of my buyers are fantastic, others wait 10 whole days to even initiate payment, or don't pay at all until they've allowed me to chase after them.. then are allowed to take a crack at my DSR ratings for having to wait.....!! I am not kidding! There is NEVER a need to leave any less than 5 STARS or anything less than a POSITIVE feedback without AT LEAST being "man-enough" (sorry ladies...) to CONTACT THE SELLER AND AT LEAST GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT!! (If they aren't already....The seller ISN'T wrong if YOU were the one not paying attention...) Show some character folks!! y'all DO remember character, don't you?? UNFORTUNATELY the folks that SHOULD be reading this are the very folks that won't "bother"....Go ahead, make my, and other sellers ratings look like crap!! I, for one have been making every effort to do my job right and I don't personally think that my expecting potential buyers to actually READ AND PAY ATTENTION TO SIMPLE ADS BEFORE ASKING RHETORICAL QUESTIONS OR PURCHASING THE ITEM is too much to ask....I can assure you that I've spent way more time writing the ads than it'll take you to read them!!
