Returns Policy
The picture above is me from several years ago using one of my old Homelite Super XL’s cutting some Madrone for the winter fires. As you can see, I use the same saws that I sell on Ebay because I know they are well-built, sturdy and capable of lasting decades if cared for properly. While I spend the same amount of time and effort on a saw that I am selling as I do on the ones I keep for myself, every once in a while, for some reason, a buyer wants to return a saw or part that he/she has purchased. So let’s talk about my return policy.
Complete Restored/Refurbished Chainsaws:
I do not accept returns on running chainsaws. This is for the simple fact that I’m not in the business of giving “test drives” for chainsaws. While there aren’t many dishonest folks out there, there’s enough to spoil the fun. I’ve received saws back that are seized from running straight gas. I received saws that had missing and broken parts. Therefore I don’t accept returns on saws! In the rare occasion that you have an issue with a saw I’ve sold as a good runner, please contact me through Ebay as I will make it right! It is rare, but things do happen. I will work with the buyer on a case by case basis to deal with those rare occasions. Should we (the buyer and I) decide that the saw should be returned, I will refund the entire purchase price and but as per Ebay's rules the BUYER will pay the return shipping. But please don’t expect a refund for simple buyer’s remorse or your own negligence that caused damage to the saw!
Parts New or Used
For new or used parts I will accept returns if the buyer contacts me within (14) days of receipt to arrange a return. I describe my parts in as much detail as possible, list applicable part numbers and try to offer good, clear pictures. Once in a while I’ll miss something or mis-identify something. In those cases I will refund the entire purchase price and pay return shipping. In all other cases, I will accept the part(s) back, but you pay the return shipping and I refund the bid price only. If you have any questions, please email me! |
