We came up with the name Lester's Castle in honor of my father-in-law Orlando "Bud" Lester, a chess master who at one point in his career played twenty simultaneous games of chess blindfolded, and wrote a chess column for the Boston Herald for more than 40 years. He enjoyed playing correspondence chess, and still enjoys playing with friends and family at the age of 85.
